I've had a very pleasant experience in the Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid community.

It's turbo Power Rangers/Sentai autism and turbo fighting game autism but everyone is very civil and nice as far as I have seen

There is none. Once fans start calling themselves a community it's too late, and will only progress to freaks that use that word fandom, at which point it's terminal and the game needs to be taken out back.

Let's actually try to get an answer here.

1, eliminate most updateable games, as the community loves to bitch and moan for BETTER updates about WHAT THEY WANT.

2, no classic or cult classic, that's how your fandom gets toxic and shits in their diaper the moment you say something bad about it.

3, smaller communities are better, so it shouldn't be incredibly popular. For example, the moment a sequel gets announced for a AAA franchise everyone will just spam and annoy you with memes about MIMIKYU or some bullshit like KRATOS DAD BOD.

4, huge learning curves attracts pretentious faggots who choke up conversations about how they found the best minmaxing/meta. On the same point, avoid pretentious garbage like Jonathan Blow.

So, I'm starting to think the best fandoms are for average darlings that only a small group likes to bond over.
