What is the best AVGN episode and why is it Doublevision?
What is the best AVGN episode and why is it Doublevision?
For me, it's his Batman Forever rant.
That shit is great. He seems genuinely angry
For me it's Megaman games (DOS, PS1, PS2)
>Travelling to the past to revisit your previous self shooting older episodes
kino
Ikari Warriors
Where did they hair go?
BUGS
FUCKIN'
BUNNY
FILL MY EYEEEEEEES WITH THAT DOUBLE VISIOOOOON
ROB the robot
As someone who grew up with Batman Forever on SNES, I find it extremely relatable.
His videos on hardware and more general topics end up being the best ones.
It's not fair
WHERE DID THE HAIR GO
>THE LAST OF US TWO?
>MORE LIKE THE ASS OF TRANS JEW
boo bros.......
For me, it's still the rant at the end of the Power Glove episode.
Doublevision is up there, but I simply prefer bugs bunny crazy castle
I always wanted to punch bugs bunny
what happened to all the old avgn characters like justin, bootsy, and the glitch gremlin? feels like every other avgn video is a cameo from an ex movie/tv star these days.
SPIDER MAN
SPIDER MAN
TAKES A DUMP IN A COFFEE CAN
A man in his 40s balding?! CAN'T BE!
this. console/accessory reviews are always the best, next to reviews of games he's extremely passionate about like castlevania
All the console reviews are top tier, but Sega CD is my personal favorite.
For this game, all I have is a two word review: Shit shark.
He punches him even harder in this one
;_;
Well he kicks the ass of bugs bunny in the birthday episode
But he doesn't retaliate, so it is kinda lame
he doesnt own avgn anymore, he just plays the nerd in the videos
This episode actually gave me appreciation for the Sega CD. Even though he shits on the games the whole time, I appreciate it.
I think he has already done everything the character has to offer so selling it is only logical.
I've never watched any AVGN. Is it something worth watching or just for nostalgia?
Justin appears sometimes, but Bootsy was Board James, and Glitch Gremlin was basically one time with a cameo.
super mario bros 3 + the wizard
ninja gaiden
its the same thing with the nostalgia critic, the fag who owns the company owns the character, not doug
Didn't the guy who played Glitch Gremlin also write the movie with James
I love his Silver Surfer rant for how almost-incoherent it gets. Feels like a very genuine reaction.
>this is just insane I mean look all this shit, oh my God... Fucking hate these gargoyles... Shit all over the place. I mean look at this pattern, it's basically just a load of fucking lines all over the screen
watch the Earthbound episode and go from there
Plumbers Don't Wear Ties is my favorite, but the opening to the ColecoVision half of Doublevision is his best moment.
The Sega CD had some great games, absolutely. A ton of developers jumped on the FMV bandwagon when CD-ROMs first hit the scene, but conventional games with CD enhancements were great.
The 32X was genuinely a pile of shit, though
My 18 year old cat died a week after his died
I miss her so much bros
LIVE LIKE A WINDRAMMER AS YOU FUCK
>18 year old
You didn't care about it very well. My grandma had a 22 cat die.
I ended up buying a Model 1 Sega CD years later, and a large part of that was due to the AVGN episode. I only have a couple of games for it (Sol Feace and Spider-Man vs. The Kingpin) since anything decent on it is really expensive, but I'm still really fond of it. I'd love to get more games for it someday, but in the meantime, burning discs will just have to do.
Can't say I have interest in the 32X though.
Not my fault her thyroid went bad and caused her to develop heart failure. I tried giving her pills and they almost killed her.
I think a lot of AVGN's videos still hold up today, especially the older ones. check out his console reviews
