Context - this is the leaker of the PS5 devkit and im 99% sure he leaked the date of yesterday's mini direct. This does not give any info on whether it is exclusive or not, but the sources I've linked below imply that it is
Context - Logan Meyer isnt the most well known name in the industry (compared to other insiders) but I've seen him claim a lot of things as of recent time. He is a writer for PixelOwl.net and claims to have sources. He says in the replies that he isnt concrete yet of this happening but has "heard stuff".
Context - This great evidence to back the claim that Ninja Gaiden is coming back as an Xbox exclusive. Xbox Era is a youtube channel with about 1.5k subscribers, but theyre very professional and have had some good guests on their podcasts (like the Lead Designer of the Ori franchise). They arent a group of people to give out fake information.
Ed from the podcast gave a clue on a game he got some info of (and knows what it is). I wont be putting a whole quote from him as you can see it for yourself (from 51:00), but he gave the clue that, "something's not dead". Ed has been right in the past (the initiative holding back their game as the most recent one i can remember) and Ninja Gaiden's last outing from Team Ninja was in 2012 (8 years ago). There was one that I found from 2014 but that was reviewed badly by critics and wasnt made by Team Ninja.
Ed tweeted out after some confusion over when we will see the game that "he didnt say whether it is appearing in July and he has no reason to believe it will". This is where Logan's tweet and Ed's beliefs coincide as Logan implies that he thinks that the reveal will be in July ("we will see soon enough") but he may just be guessing
Cool if true, but I don't plan on buying an Xbox anytime soon, and NG is not that high on my priority list.

Itagaki is a hack that's made exactly two good games. Just because both those games were Ninja Gaiden games doesn't mean it's a dead IP without him. NG3RE and both Nioh games are great.

I know what else he made. The only good games he's ever directed are NG04/Black and NGII. DOA was always mediocre at best and Devil's Third while having some potential was a total mess. Sigma 2 & vanilla NG3 were bad but Team Ninja has been doing a lot better since Razor's Edge without any input from oatmeal man.

MS seems pretty keen on putting out everything in the next few years on SeX, Bone, & PC all, probably phasing out the Bone after a couple years of SeX being out. Expect Xbox GamePass to be superior and have more games like the new NG sooner than the PC GamePass however.

I was under the impression he and various other ex-Team Ninja staff founded Soleil together, but Devil's Third got jerked around for years and then flopped on the WiiU before barely doing better on PC. Maybe that just took it out of him. He's certainly not working on Samurai Jack; the game was very clear about the game having ex-Team Ninja staff but Itagaki is not mentioned to be on it at all.
