Beyblade for sure. Giant monsters come out of them and the plastic that encases them can move unlike those ball things.

Almost all the designs from the trailer are kind of stupid. We got Farness stolen from Berserk who looks cool, but then the dragonslayer knight and the big troll have awful looking armor. Then there is the Elden Ring itself. We see another game revolving around a ring. Originally Dark Souls was meant to be called Dark Ring, in reference to what we now call the Dark Sign. Part way through development they got told it's slang in the UK for anus so they quickly changed it. So now they finally get their chance to make a "Ring" game"

So it looks like a mixture of the Dark Sign, First Flame, and The One Ring from Lord of the Rings. We have a big ring that powers the universe and it's shattered leading to an apocalypse where people are falling apart and their limbs are falling off.

So that's okay, but ti feels like such a re-tread for both From and GRRM. Wasn't the idea supposed to be bringing in a new writer to breath some new fantasy setting? But it looks like a dark souls and lord of the rings retread.

This is art for Lord of the Rings of the forging of the first ring and it fits Perfectly with Elden Ring to the point people thought it was concept art when it first surfaced.

there isnt much to go on from the trailer. many thought the sekiro trailer was bloodborne 2 because there was no gameplay. Its too early to tell -- I'm kinda hopinh it sucks and doesnt have PVP so I retain the small social life I have currently.
