30fps doesn't hurt the game in any way

Yeah, that's my only real quarrel with consoles these days... that along with the terrible storage capacity and paid online.

But the 30fps factor alone makes the entire system blow par for supporting in my opinion.

You'll never get 60 fps on console with this level of detail especially in open world games.
Even if they put a ridiculous amount of hardware into next gen that could handle 60fps devs would rather push the level of detail and assets on screen but stick with 30fps.

GotY for me, haven't played a good samurai game since Sword of the Samurai on the PS1

If they guaranteed 60 fps in every game next gen, I'd stop upgrading my PC. I like physical games MUCH more than digital purchases so all I need it the framerate not to physically hurt me and I'm on board.

Yeah, I know, they'll push for 30 and no higher because it's the standard that console users have let it slump to.

It's sad, because I'm sure it's a great game, as are many of the exclusives, but the low framerate is just too much of a drawback for me to take out my wallet for.

I'm not sure I'd go that far because I really like to play my FPS games with a mouse and keyboard, but I'd 100% find myself purchasing and supporting a console that would hit a mandatory 1080p 60fps across all games.
