Now that everyone is talking about Legend of Korra again (announced on Netflix today), can we talk about how she DESERVES a PROPER videogame adaptation?

The platinum game made a few years ago was shallow and had no depth.

I'd rather a game in the universe where you play as your own created character and bending power of choice.

Only thing she deserves is dick and bullying

The only thing that Korra deserves is my seed

Reminder that a broken clock is right twice a day.

As long as it's better executed than DBXenoverse, that was a novel concept but the gameplay was beyond tedious.

Legend of Korra sucks and is a stain on the Avatar franchise

This the only good thing about Korra is the porn

>announced on Netflix today
Fuck yes, I get to watch season 3 again.

I roleplay with other white boys on the internet pretending to be a "black" Korra and make them degrade themselves for Korra's "bbc"

The game was better than anything related to Korra has any right to be.

Korra was so bad that it killed Avatar, there was so much hype around that series and the series in general, now nobody fucking talks about it beyond Korra porn.

Pandering to tumblr will get you that, lmao.

>talking shit about lucas
aquire wisdom
youtube.com/watch?v=2fzjOlh5g_o

This. Korra was infinitely worse than the original. I don't think the show that killed the series deserves more attention.

>Even Anita hates Korra

Kill all netflix drones
Kill all avatar secondaries
Kill all Korra trannies

I'd say this one is right once a millenia. She's still right though.

>awesome premise that this villain can take away bending because the spirits feel neglected
>potential normal world vs spirit world war, something totally new
>lol j/k blood bending
I was so fucking disappointed with the direction they took. I watched the entire show but only remember bits of the first season and I guess that one dude that could fly but nothing other than him being able to fly. Then something about Korra being a lesbian?

Everyone calling her a lesbian never gets old because wasn’t she falling hard for a guy for the entire first season

One of these days Nick is going to decanonize Korra and the comics and beg the original team to come back and make a proper Season 4.

>was shallow and had no depth.
do you realize you retarded you sound? that's like saying this is bad and not good.

Hey ubisoft

Mako and Korra were unlikable, but far more believable than Asami and Korra which felt like them signaling to their ultra-obnoxious fans.

One of the animators said that them walking off was not the original ending either, so they threw that together quick. God damn that ending was so bad, even putting aside the out-of-left homo shit, they city is destroyed with rogue spirits running amok and Korra just leaves for a vacay. Fuck that incompetent college sexual.

So what exactly is wrong with Korra? I never watched LoK but the random scenes I see on YouTube seem pretty cool?

The original ATLA team did work on Korra though

What if she has your baby and it's a girl?

the writing, pacing and characterization is pretty terrible
there's good animation though, for the most part

Hell has frozen over, I see.

brown
pussy

ATLA is perfect as is and doesn't need any more. Just let things end.

I liked the legend of korra, and that statement is so close to making me hate it. Fuck you for bringing that into my life

the animation in the 1st, 3rd, and 4th seasons are a pleasure to look at.

but if you care at all about story in what you watch, it is the most horrible mishmash of bullshit and unfinished garbage that you'll ever watch.

She's right for the wrong reasons. She's mad how the Korra villains (Amon for the most part) represents her flawed ideology taken to its logical extremes.

I saw someone write a criticism of Korra on Zig Forums that said the show was basically "Korra defends liberalism against a 20th-century enemy of liberalism"
Isn't that like, super progressive? I didn't watch the show I just fap to fat brown titties most of the time

She's looking pretty good fighting Zeus and Cthulhu in SMITE.

Korra is shit

Anno redeemed himself with Shin Godzilla.

Nvm misread it. Like music in a super market.

I'm ashamed to know this cow has invested interest in one of my favorite cartoons. And trying to use it to stay relevant at that.

yeaah I'd rather have more games for the actual good series instead of the shitty spinoff

The same way a broken clock is only technically correct sometimes.

>hating E3
>not reveling in the absolute cringe
sad

Korra was a fun ride I dont know what to tell you.

its okay

its problem is its a sequel to the best cartoon in recent memory

>can we talk about how she DESERVES a PROPER videogame adaptation?
She got the game she deserved considering the show was
>shallow and had no depth.

The Platinum game had a great combat system. Imagine what they could have done had they had an actual budget and some creative freedom.

No.

>villain raises a legitimate point about inequality
>"heroes" have no answer to his viewpoints
>villain turns out to have lied about their past and secretly be a bad person
>this somehow proves the villains wrong and their legitimate point is never mentioned again

This is the single biggest sign the show was written by liberals. They always attack the person making the statement rather than the statement itself, and think that if they can "expose" the person in some way that it means they win the argument.

>Aang with a girl wig
???

found it
>The reason season two of The Legend of Korra was so terrible, even compared to the rest of the show, is because the "Korra fights an enemy of early 20th-century liberal democracy" format of each season utterly imploded with S2's "theocracy/reaction."

>Specifically, the very idea of "separation of church and state" is a western post-Christian one, and is utterly incoherent in the context of Eastern faiths. It's no coincidence that the show suddenly and jarringly has to retcon things into a western (well, Manichean) cosmology. Also, since the show is also a historical allusion to pre-WWII Europe, it has to try to find a contemporary theocratic movement to base things on... Which didn't exist. (the closest would be Codreanu-era Iron Guard, but then you'd be retreading if you did Fascism later) Moreso, in the end, you get a generic evil sorcerer straight out of pulp fiction and unmoored from the era's politics. ( which the show, in its only moment of self-awareness, admits via Varrick's propaganda films) The final problem is that the lens that the show uses to critique these ideologies, progressive liberalism, limits the coherence of the show. Liberalism is basically "Actually existing anarchism," which is why Season 3 was the best: :Liberalism can actually explain Anarchism without relying on strawmen. Seasons one and two, likewise, were the worst because communism is steelmanned liberalism: John Locke for the industrial society. A liberal cannot actually understand communism without becoming a communist. Similarly, idpol prog liberalism cannot comprehend faith AT ALL.

>So Season two has the perfect storm: disjointed metaphysics, a plot unmoored from the logic of history, a villain who is completely incoherent because the creators can't understand what they're trying to demonize, and a setting where such demonization wouldn't make sense anyway. It really is horrid.

Interesting but idk enough about the show to determine if it's correct or not

First season she fights anarcho-communists. Second season she fights stupid spiritual bullshit pulled out of writers ass. Third season she fights an army of fascists that just came out of nowhere, lead by asian version of Ilsa Haupstein.

forklift

that is Jinora, his granddaughter. No, I am not kidding.

This
Each season villain basically represents an enemy of modern liberalism
Season one is communism
Two is traditionalism
Three is anarchism
Four is nationalism

I wouldn't even have cared if the characters were good though.

Wrong.

I legitimately feel bad for the animators/artist that worked on LOK. It looked amazing but the writing fucking sucked. They really shot themselves in the foot making the avatar have 3/4 elements right off the bat. What a train wreck. Only good thing to come from it was fucking Varrik.

why even bother thinking about something that'll (most likely) never happen

The writing and pacing is a mess. Mostly because it was originally intended to just be 1 short mini series, but then 3 more parts were made because of the hype. Parts 1 and 3 are enjoyable, 2 and 4 are terrible (the avatar Wan episodes from 2 are good, however)
Animation is mostly fine but you'll come to notice they drop a lot of the martial arts thing and just make everyone throw elements at each other

>my intestinal parasites were a fun ride I don't know what to tell you
Thats a good analogy for the show. First you don't mind it when it helps you lose weight and keep in shape. But then it refuses to leave and starts giving you infections and pain.
