I've given up at this point. Sakurai and his team clearly aren't the biggest Sonic fans. It is beyond me how a dev as talented and passionate as Sakurai could allow Sonic to have two Spindashes for a whole decade. The only thought process I can think of them having every time they have to touch Sonic is "eh, whatever."
