Dude it's ass. Why do you run so slow in the water with the heavy upgrade? Do they really expect you to just switch back and forth like the water temple? Why do I need to get a new shard every 30 seconds? Why are the main movement upgrades treated as just another dumb ass shard pick-up? I spent way too long looking for a way to progress when I needed to go get a specific shard to let me dive underwater. Why are all the weapons so boring? The greatswords all share one swing animation, it would be cool if they at least cycled through 2 or 3 different ones per swing instead of the same one over and over. I thought the story was dumb and started skipping everything shortly after entering the castle, I don't like anime though so maybe it's just not my cup of tea. I do like the invert upgrade, the rotating 3Dish levels, some of the secrets were fun to get, bosses were decent, enemy design was weird in a good way, and some other stuff.
