It's not the first reverse horror game out there but I feel you. If you want something of that genre but with different gameplay I recommend Sea Salt, very fun, interesting lore.

There's an abysmally low amount of games where you play as the monster. It's what, AvP 1/2, L4D to an extent, dead before daylight/friday the 13 (or whatever those are, not interested in multiplayer), Stubbs the Zombie and... that's it, I think?
It's probably quite difficult to come up with a fun gameplay loop in this case, I don't see any other reason for the scarcity in this department.

Prototype 1 is such a nice game. It's got so many little flaws that give it jank, but it's one of those 7/10s that excels at its strengths which few if any games have done close to as well.

played about 45 minutes of the full release so far. the monster controls feel a lot more refined and detailed. otherwise, just more of the same from the demo. there's also a human controllable character you shift to.

The demo was cool, I'll pick it up if it seems appropriately priced. Not sure how much longevity there is in the gameplay unless they added a bunch of new mechanics and stuff. If it's basically just the demo but 2 hours long instead of 10 minutes it'll still be a neat concept and worth playing but I'm not paying more than 10 leafbucks for it, and if they tried to stretch basically-just-the-demo out for more than 2 hours it'll just get boring.
