Favorite JRPG/WRPG Magic?
Favorite JRPG/WRPG Magic?
What magic lets you kill yourself and erase yourself from history?
Necromancy and conjuration
Go ask Ragna
are you asking for favorite magic type or favorite magic system?
Necro cause it's the quickest way to building your own army of the damned.
what's the difference?
Can someone tell me good games that have Necromancy in them? Like fuck, really want to feel like a huge asshole necro fuck.
confirmed retarded then.
Enchantment for sure.
It doesn't matter how powerful you are if you're paralyzed.
magic type is more flavor and magic system is more mechanic
>Transmutation
Buff/Debuff Shit
>Abjuration

Buff/Debuff Shit
I feel like Necromancy/Necromancer is OP in most games, on top of just being fun to play and feeling awesome with an army of skellies/zombies at your command.
I enjoy magic schools/styles of all sorts, but Necromancy will always have a special place in my heart and I usually make a Necromancer or choose a Necromantic faction before any other.
Are there more types of magic other than those 8?
tf is abjuration?
Defensive magic. Magic shields, barriers, wards, etc.
Name games with good illusion magic. I can only recall GW1/2 having it and TES, though I never used it there.
Thaumaturgy?
What are some games where lighting myself on fire with magic is a viable strategy?
Dragons dogma. You can set yourself on fire and climb on enemies to damage them. Also it has the biggest magic spells i have ever seen in a game
Transmutation seems pretty OP
Path of Exile, just hit dat Righteous Fire and run around melting everything around you.
Illusion, though it rarely has as many spells as other schools
Necromancy any day.
It's not really magic, but I like the Thu'um.
Enchantment and Illusion.
Chronomancy.
Fist magic.
Evokation. Then kick all of you out of the party for being a bunch of dps shitters
It hurts to see Finger of Death become a mostly boring damage spell instead of the fearsome spell it used to be.
Abjuration. There's nothing like casting a fuckhuge spell, having an enemy caster feel big brained and counterspelling it, only for me to counterspell their counterspell.
