SWTOR was just another bottom of the barrel tab-target MMO, but I will at least give it some credit for having a group questing system that worked. Too many games just have group quest-step-progression, causing people to miss out on dialogue or get split up by quest choices. Some of the mini-games were also alright, like how galactic starfighter was pretty rad for what it was.

The fact is that the SWTOR team has worked on this game for 8 years and basically fixed every single aspect of the game to where nothing resembles the base SWTOR from 2011. Outside of the kinda greedy F2P model (which can be circumvented completely by subbing for 1 month, then cancelling, and never have to deal with F2P ever again because it bumps you to Preferred status) SWTOR is genuinely one of the best modern MMOs available to play right now

I just finished the Sith Inquisitor class line, fuck off.

I came for the twi'lek booty and left because of the absolutely boring gameplay. They give you 30 different skills but none of them have any weight or feel like they have any impact. It's just the same boring sequence on every group of the trash mobs you encounter and then maybe change it up for the boss dude.
The story is serviceable but I hate having to run through the same planets doing the same exact thing for each one.

I go back to SWTOR every now and then, but the gameplay feeling is so fucking garbage because of the ability bloat.

So the game gives you free stuff without even having to log in? That's pretty cool. Most of these games force you to log in daily in the hopes it keeps people addicted to playing.

Lots of money was invested in the game and it didn't quite get the reception the developers were hoping for. It has since then chugged along with enough of a playerbase to keep it afloat.

The entire game can be played Solo. Its more of an RPG than an MMO at this point. Sure you can see other people walking around the world, but you can literally do the entire story missions of the game with just your companion of your choice (your AI squadmate) and never have to group up at all unless you want to do raids and shit

Longtime SWTOR player here. Don't play the game unless you want to sink 50+ hours into and get disappointed by the credit cap.

MMO can't be good, it's shit genre and any MMO game is bad default. TOR prevented Kotor 3 from happening and shat on this series entire story and all characters. It's utter abomination, kill yourself shill.
