I just bought this, in 30-40min can finally play it. Any advice before I start?
Ghost of Tsushima
Hard difficulty, save Kurosawa mode for a second run.
Refund it and buy the superior Nioh 2
increase brightness a little bit, you can't see shit otherwise
Skills to get ASAP:
Triple stealth kill
Triple standoff kill
Parry counter strike
Dodge counter strike
Perfect dodge
Arrow deflect
Listen mode movement speed
Resolve parry boost
this pretty much
also enable high contrasts, and HDR if you can
Refund it and buy the vastly superior Sekiro : Shadows Die Twice.
Already played both, Sekiro is great but I didn't like Nioh 2 as much as the first.
Enjoy samurai buttocks of steel
OH NONONONO Thank you
ehhh
you rarely get triple stealth kill opportunities
triple standoff is great though
and listen mode movement speed is completely useless, you can just activate it, check where enemies are and deactivate it
Does Hard difficulty work like Stalker, where you die in 1 2 hits but so do all enemies? Also is anyone else having audio problems when it comes to dialogue?
no, enemies are just more aggressive and gangbang you more often
Why isnt the main characters gender optional?
You can obliterate entire enemy camps in like 10 seconds with triple stealth kill + smoke bombs.
>you rarely get triple stealth kill opportunities
What are you talking about? It comes up constantly. Especially if you use wind chimes or firecrackers
cause this game ain't for trannies
Listening to every story being some generic trope is hurting my ears, is that what you mean?
side content is 90% of the game. B-line the story until you get a grappling hook. Then fuck off and do side content.
you can obliterate everything with any option the game gives you, I kill 10 enemies in 4 seconds/Junaid
you're not getting those until at least the first legend increase (and I'd rather pick smoke bomb there), double stealth kill is absolutely fine at the start
Do your first playthrough on Hard with English VA. The models are synced to the English voice track so save Japanese for when you go full Kurosawa on your second play through.
Do not dishonor your family by abusing Ghost Weapons. Preferably don't use them at all except when they are required for mission progression. This goes double for stealth assassinations.
When approaching a camp if there is an objective for the Leader always attempt to scout the area and observe them before going into battle so you get double the points they are worth.
Always dismount and call for a Standoff as early as you can when engaging patrols and open enemy camps.
Remember archery is an honorable way to engage enemies but should only be used to dispatch archers and terrified mongols fleeing from direct combat.
Haikus are inscribed to a band so reflect and compose them as appropriately as you can for Jin's mindset on the topic.
Only don your o-yoroi when you know you are headed into battle otherwise wear appropriate robes when traveling or visiting towns. Select appropriate dyes for the mood of the content you're experiencing.
And ALWAYS remember to pet the fox.
Kunais, FUCK this weird autocorrect chinkphone
Half of it. The dialogue for cutscens and random mission travel isn't coming through but everything else is. This is the only game that's doing it. Had to plug my headset in to hear the hilarous English dub.
lmaoing at this autismo
this game looks amazing in some screenshots and absolutely terrible in others. Why is that?
Does playing like a Ghost affect the story in any way?
No. Its funny because you can play like a samurai then get cutscenes of Jin and his friends saying omg so dishonoraburu!
No. The story expects that you are playing that way though.
Get the black horse and name them Kage if you aren't a faggot
Really? Why?
After you're used to the game turn on expert hud. Also have fun I just got to act 2 and the game keeps getting better
Enemies are more aggressive and somebody claimed it also speeds up enemy attacks so you have less time to react to them.
Apart from a couple duels it's still really not that hard of a game since Jin will already be a god by the end of the first act.
My favourite moments were in the first few hours where you're still really fragile and feel like stealth is necessary to progress.
You quickly get so many tools that will just instantly kill stuff that every encounter just becomes very inconsequential.
Fuck off Sora is the way to go
Hello, yes my autism is a gift to you. Laugh deep and heartily.
No but you're practically raping Jin's honorable samurai spirit by not engaging in face to face sword combat and actively encouraging the fracture of his psyche due to the moral decline.
If there were custom names I bet you would have called it Sephiroth
Getting spear parry is a necessity. Dodging sucks and moves you too far.
Why the FUCK does some parts of the map look like it still has light fog over it? holy SHIT this fucking triggers my autism.
If there were i would have named mine Gook
Tomoe did nothing wrong and Ishikawa is a faggot.
