Who was in the wrong?
Who was in the wrong?
Jin.i havent completed the game yet but he commited to a code and he didnt see it to the end. It was justified but he was in the wrong since he promised his uncle and himself that he would sie by the code. So yeah he broke a promise so i guess he was in the wrong even if it was the right thing to do due to the circumstances. The moments where you have flashbacks of your uncle during gameplay and jin comments that its just while the mongols are here. Made me feel his struggle with his being and the situation
Sucker Punch for making a shitty AC clone that only the lowest of normalfags can digest.
Bushido only works during peace.
Jin for sure, especially in the time period this game is set in. The poetic honor code they're talking about had no fucking place at the time.
Yeah in actuality the shogun would’ve rewarded Jin greatly for single handily stopping the invasion.
Both were right in their own ways, which is part of what makes the ending really powerful imo.
Like, look, I get it. You want to be the big honorable Samurai. But you cant do that when some fuck has a blade against a hostages throat. Don't guilt trip me about this game.
yeah, but if Jin didn't sacrifice his honor, then tsushima is long gone already. Either you simp on the code or be the chad hero of the island
Uncle was being a fag though somewhat understandable due to culture and the shogun was terrified that jin was a becoming a master of war. In practical terms none of that honor stuff matters if you lose and mongols were certainly not playing by the same set of honor rules
Yeah im saying historically the shogun wouldnt have gave a fuck if jin fought dirty and poisoned them. All they wanted was to win at any costs. The fact that jin fought for his people at all costs would’ve been honorable enough back then.
Jin for the poison fiasco. Lord Shimura for the whole "let's loose eberyrhing but muhhonor"
there was literally nothing wrong with the poison especially after kahn just essentially sent suicide bombers at them
Jin 100%. His stealth was a shitty gimmick and the poison got his own people killed. Shimura was only guilty of being foolish and idealistic, but he was a good guy who lived by a moral code and even so loved Jin to the end even when Jin denounced him like an arrogant brat and poisoned and backstabbed. Jin was a reckless bitch who listened to some dumb peasant girl a little too much instead of talking strategy with his uncle.
the poison gained them more than they lost; his uncle strategy was to literally run soldiers to their death until it works
Why do all the characters in this game have Yayoi phenotype? Where the the Jomons?
I think the reason he was being punished is because he directly disobeyed a command from his superior.
Uncle was in the wrong. You have to adopt new strategies for new enemies, At castle Shimura the mongols would've set up hwachas in preparation for the attack after the bridge was rebuilt. Not to mention the explosives on the mongol side.
Found the fag who hasn't played the game but somehow has the strongest opinion about it.
They're not on mainland Japan, they're on an Island that's closer to Korea
Jin was in the right. There is no reason to sacrifice oneself because your dogma stiffy told you so.
Reminder that you are a complete faggot who misunderstood the story if you chose to kill him
Shimano and muh code in general were in the wrong for trying to kill the guy who single handily repelled the mongols but Jin was a fucking retard for basically teaching them how to poison his people
So why did Jin fight his uncle instead of just letting him cut his head off?
Finish act 2 first before you say who's wrong.
If you payed attention youd know that the mongols found out about the poison and went on a reprisal spree against the people in tsushima using Jins own medicine. Jin got his own people killed just like Shimura and then asked for Shimuras help to kill the Khan by... guess how... throwing men at him until they won.
No you're a fucking asshole if you deny the old man who spent his entire lifetime dedicated to a code the opportunity to at least die in what he thought was an honorable way. Sparing Shimura is just torturing him
He did the right thing and it was justified. Still he broke the code we swore to keep. It gives the game an interesting angle. I just wish the game itself really forced the player to succumb and if the player by a small chance beat the odds and did things by the code he would get rewarded. Maybe in thw sequel
I'm fairly sure it's because Jin inspired peasents to revolt.
Yeah im at the start of it. Thanks for not spoiling.
No, by sparing him, you are ultimately reaching your destiny as having completely abandoned the way of the samurai you've doubted throughout the whole game.
Killing him is just showing how you're still a submissive to Ishimura's way
see
I killed him because he tried to kill me. That was as far as my calculations went.
