Just about any shotgun in STALKER Anomaly is a godsend. It drops exos, it drops boars, it drops bloodsuckers. If I'm just traveling, I always have my shotgun ready.

akimbo models and akimbo G18 are the best ways to piss people off in that game. people STILL rage when i do it, its been more than 10 years at this point lmao

The HL1 MP5 feels like total dogshit. It's pretty much only the Black Mesa MP5 that actually feels good since it has a tight spread, a recoil pattern, and can kill enemies quick as hell. The main problem with HL1's gunplay is how tanky the soldiers are, they require 2 god damned double barreled blasts to go down on hard.

The CE shotgun is pretty amazing. The thing does big damage and can hold a fuckton of shells. Felt great clearing out Flood with it near the end.

Still the kings. Also the Ion Maiden shotgun is shockingly solid. Can easily 1 shot enemies at medium ranges, and can switch to grenade rounds.

Probably one of my favorite shotguns in anything solely because of how satisfying it is to see enemies fly backwards after shooting both barrels right in their face.
