It's honestly not that bad. Gameplay is way more fun than the original trilogy, and while the writing and dialogue isn't on the same level it's still entertaining; just a light hearted space adventure.

face animations still beyond bad, it failed due to extreme expectations and the setting was complete opposite what everyone wanted
but if you detach yourself from mass effect name, it's a decent game
>It's honestly not that bad.
It is. The companions are so souless, they barely have a personality, specially Jaal who's meant to be the new thing, the plot is stupid, Kett are awful villains, lots and lots of boring walking and driving, side quests are awful.
The only good thing about it is how cute Scott Ryder is.
> if you detach yourself from mass effect name, it's a decent game
it's literally kingdom of amalur on space.
did you actually play it? planets were great, most people seem to think tasks are the quests, you can safely ignore them
>gay
>doesn't like jaal
makes sense.
I play a lot of AA games and this feels closer to that, so the animations don't bother me too much. Honestly this game is the Fallout 4 of Mass Effect. Not a good Mass Effect game, but still fun and decent on its own
Scott is pretty based so far.
>planets were great
Dude, they were mostly empty deserts. I still have ptsd from this place.
idk man as soon as I started getting DA:Inquisition like sidequests and shit I stopped playing
if he was more bland he'd be a potato.
> ryder... i... speak... like... a... turtle... and... my... race... is.... emotional... but... we're... just... as... emotional... as...everyone...else...
boring trash, and he's ugly.
i can't believe people liked Sarah unironically, she's so mary sue it hurts. Scott is the forgotten child so his dad sacrificing himself for him is an extremely beautiful scene. But Sarah? she was already daddy's girl, she met Liara, she's so fanfic, ugh.
eledaan was best planet, so rare to have scorching deserts in games
the speed of nomad is messed up though, so it makes it a chore later, sure
It wasn't grounded enough to resonate
> just a light hearted space adventure
is is a bait? the writing is atrocious and I'm being generous
fuck off ex-bioware tranny employee
>i can't believe people liked Sarah unironically
what do you mean? I thought she was 40% of the reason why everyone made fun of this game.
those quests were completely out of place in inquisition but they feel fine here
Ugh no, that place was pure shitty parkour.
it was written like star trek when it should've been like battlestar galactica, I guess, or even expanse
stop trying so hard to fit in. not everything is 10/10 or pure dogshit you retard. game could be lacking in parts and still be a good time
I don't even know how to respond to that aside from - you have shit taste.
Only v does that, but sure, only 20% of players played as Sarah, but those who did are super fucking loud.
I bought it on sale for $2. i still can't bring myself to play that brain dead shit.
I just want 3's mutliplayer back
sadly andromeda's was not up to par
i wish i could have been molested by alec.
best combat in the series though
nah, me2 and me3 had a better combat. Andromeda's is too MMO.
>only 20% of players played as Sarah
That's more than FemShep managed, despite how vocal that minority is.
imagine if Alec was the main character. everyone would ignore all the faults isntantly.
>gameplay is way more fun
Stopped reading here
charge/nova/shotgun is unbeatable fun combo
GoW copypaste in me2/3 gets tiring, it got better tuned in me3, but corridor is a corridor
1's gameplay aged like dogshit and 2 and 3 are just cover shooters. how are they better?
Omg yes and Scott being a companion and romance option and you can choose to fuck your son.
who hurt you user to become like this?
I liked the general gameplay, mostly the combat and jetpack stuff. Being able to mix & match powers was kind of cool but I think that might've actually taken away from some of the character identity and made me less interested in a 2nd playthrough than the other games. Of course that doesn't matter because I never finished my first playthrough in the first place. Everything else about the game is rather bad. Your crew feels like a bunch of dumb college kids instead of a group of professionals. Its like whoever wrote this just wanted wacky adventures in space and it completely clashes with the goal & tone of the story. I got the ps4 version for $5 which is the only reason I even played it. Unfortunately that also meant I had to put up with the awful console gunplay and just ended up giving up on the game.
To this day still one of the great videos of our time
nobody, that's the problem. Why couldn't i get a handsome rich dad that would molest me when i was 12?
Correct. Mass Effect was cool because it was plausible, one of my favorite parts was just listening to the Codex explain how humanity was adjusting to finding this new technology and expanding into this alien works. In Andromeda that's all just taken for granted, there's no sense of wonder or exploration
