Comparing an over 10 year old game to one that supposed to be a console seller, doesn't make your point look good. To add insult to injury, halo 1 and 2 were both console sellers and reasons to own the Xbox original. Halo infinite is not selling the SeXbox to anyone.

If Xbots spent so much effort on picking out the worst frame on a demo I’d be concerned as well. The demo is only 4 mins and people are going to eventually watch it so I don’t know what snoys have to gain from pretending the game looks bad.
What people conveniently are not talking about - the gameplay - actually looked really tight.
I only have two major gripes about the demo.
1. The flying vehicles shown looked pretty stilted and like they were on rails. I’m pretty sure the banshee planes won’t be like this though.
2. The hexagon terrain. Needs either a change or some detailing. Looks kind of dumb.
As for graphics:
The fact that this super close up screen cap of a melee is the best haters can grab and it doesn’t even look that bad shows how good the graphics engine actually looks. In fact everything looked really, really clean in the demo. I hope other games follow this aesthetic, because they actually have a style kind of unique looking here.
The only thing that bothered me about the trailer is that the villain brute got very uncomfortably close to the camera while breathing heavy. Set a fire in your heart? More like set a fire in my lungs with the virus if you keep breathing on me like that. Social distancing dude.

There was absolutely no new behavior from the grunts jackals and elites, everything is rehashed.

Fair enough.
Apex has scuffed potential because it’s a battle royale though, so I don’t mind Halo copying abilities since players should be able to do much more with it in Halo than they would in a BR.
