I know that may seem like a weird "mistake" to make, especially by someone who considers themselves to be a Metroid-fan, but I like to make a very clear and certain distinction between Zero Suit Samus and Samus.

Samus is the protagonist of the Metroid games, a lovely series of Action-Adventures featuring an unreached level of atmosphere, immersion and sense of discovery and exploration. She is wearing big battle armor, but if you're good at the game, you may see what's underneath the shell at the end of the game.

Zero Suit Samus, however, is the obnoxious need of some people in the industry and/or fandom to remind people that SAMUS IS A GIRL XD
And of course such reminder can not be made without also stressing her girly attributes. But as you can't make this battleharden warrior a cute little princess, you of course go the fit, athletic, sexy route. Than you unleash smelly pedo-Smash-fags, with no understanding of Metroid, onto her and voilà, a new internet-fap-star is born.

It gets really messy when retarded idiots like Sakamoto try to fuse the sexy strong Zero Suit Samus trope with the original Samus AND their own fantasy version of an submissive waifu crybaby version of her.

Which is kinda strange considering Samus was a lot in her Zero Suit in Zero Mission, but there she felt like ACTUAL Samus instead of Zero Suit Samus.

I hope when Prime 4 comes and we get a post-credits scene of Sammy stripping out of her power suit, it'll just show her face, kinda like in Prime 1.

I'm not sure what your picture is supposed to prove. The only thing their bodies have in common are that they're both skinny. Otherwise, Barbie is flat while Samus has a big rack, Barbie has no ass while Samus has an ass, and Barbie's limbs are thin and twiglike while Samus' have some meat and I assume muscle on them.

You also seem to forget that there's an ENTIRE game with Samus in her power suit before that scene AND that scene leads to her regaining her power suit to kick ass.

Because it's just a backside. There's more to the difference between Samus and Zero Suit Samus than a fat ass. For all we know, Samus could have had the biggest, fattest most flappiest booty in Prime 1. But we never saw it. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that it doesn't neccessarily need to be a problem to have Samus out of her suit. It's how you handle that, which matters.
