I just preordered it. I havent played the og but i enjoyed the demo. I havent pre ordered a game in a long time, and I think I did it here because it feels like a return to 6th gen gameplay. BFBB was great too, although the remake is highly flawed... I just wish games nowadays had a 6th gen style of gameplay.

I played it on PS2 around release, was one of my favorites growing up. I'm cautiously optimistic but waiting after release to see the reception before deciding on it. I think both sides have good arguments on the style change of NPCs, while it is nice to give them some character I think it's gonna make seeing the same 7 NPCs on the streets respawning more noticeable with the "fortnite" designs as opposed to the more realistic models from the original.

I remember watching the behind the scenes footage within the first games unlocks.
They showed how the death ray could slice through buildings, destruction was more advanced.
