Would You Pirate a Game user?

Back when I was a student yeah but nowadays I know what I like and have the patience to wait for patches/sales so I don't really do it except for shit I'm emulating.
Nowadays I only pirate shit to seed it for people.
I pirated Endless Space 2 less than a week ago.
Not a fan.
I'll pirate Undertale just to spite this faggot, even though I have no intention of playing it.
Should've released a demo so I could tell the game was shit.
I don’t get this. Pirating is no different from just not buying the game at all.
You haven’t done anything, yet you feel like you’ve just totally pwned him or something.
I pirated games that weren't released in my country. Fuck you Nintendo.
Huh, I pirated the game but never got this message.
It's clearly different for the creator since he put this warning in his game.
We've been over this user, 1 pirate = 1 lost sale.
pirating has really helped me not spend 20 dollars on shitty indie tycoon games tho
It's not though
there never was a lost sale since the pirate never intended to buy the game in the first place
It is too
I must have missed it, where does it play?
If you aint got a demo for me to play then i am pirating it, if i like it i will buy it
I see alot of ''I caved in and bought the game because i didn't want to wait for the crack anymore' type comments on crackwatch lately since denuvo has been harder to crack. So in a way it does help sales. But it doesn't do anything for that third worlder who isnt able to purchase the game in the first place.
>I won't buy it or play it
>What, a meta game makes fun of you for pirating?
>Time to waste 0.00000001% of my hard drive's life to pirate it for no reason
Literally on the same level as downloading multiple copies of the game to make them lose MORE money. And this picture is from a fan animation of a what-if comic anyways, retard.
I never have but i would. Especially if it was some faggot indie dev or a huge name thing. But piracy is why alot of good games dont secure the funds for sequels and microtransactions exist
Are you stupid?
False. If the game is good, then people will advertise it, no matter whether they paid for it or not. Having a bunch of pirates vs. no pirates is clearly better for sales.
>Hates indie
>Hates AAA
>Encourages piracy
>Laments piracy's effects
Complex motives man.
This. But it works ONLY if the game is GOOD. Thats why modern companies pay for denuvo and other stuff like that.
pirate pc games
buy physical console games
I haven't bought a game in like 10 years lol
No, its just support for kino games that dont get the widespread sales they should and a huge disdain for corporate jewery and faggots who wanna make a game "exploring the emotions of being a trans orphan"
I pirate every game I play
If I beat the game and it's still good enough to be replayed again, I buy and replay it.
It's fanmade.
so... where is it?
Same vibes. I have 170+ games in my steam library. ALL of them were pirated at first. The only game i bought without pirating is RDR2 and i kinda regret it.
I did this with Mount and Blade Warband. Played the demo, pirated after that, then bought the series.
