Ring Fit Adventure

Is it worth the 80 bucks? Really on the edge of buying this..

Yes

It's good for cardio.

I am a switch pirate, is there a cheap way to just get the ring cons without paying $40+

PT here. Ring Fit Adventure is great because it makes compliance easy. Players actually want to come back to keep their streak up and the workouts are varied enough that the player doesn't get bored. Will it get you shredded? No. But, if you're overweight and are just learning how to diet and exercise, it is much better than something like Insanity or P90X, which are sold on bullshit concepts like muscle confusion, that will burn out a newbie within the first two weeks.

Spend the $80, skip your next 5-10 fast food meals, and it'll have paid for itself.

>Is it worth the 80 bucks?
Where the fuck are you getting it for 80 bucks? Everywhere selling at MSRP is sold out near me and the only way to buy it online is from scalpers selling it for 120+

Europe

no, just go for a walk
buying a toy wont change your fitness

Thanks for making this thread. I wanted to get this in my country but it wasn't available anywhere except for scalpers at 120 euros. Now i checked and it had the whole package at 80 or whatever the basic price is. I just ordered it and will go pick it up later today.

If you think this shit is primarily for cardio and that's what you're basing your judgment on you're a fucking retard

>implying that cardio has anything to do with weight loss
Stop spreading this myth, calculate how many calories you burn when running five minutes per km (which isn't trivial when you're fat) for one hour. Compare it to your favorite junk food.

Came to this thread cause I'm in a similar position.
Thanks for an actual genuine reply.

Why are Euros always so negative and petty? I don't think I've ever had a good experience with a Euro in a video game. It's like they can only have fun by trying to ruin others'.

You keep burning calories for hours after you stop running, you brainlet fuck.

It's not that simple. Each individual is different and honestly we don't quite know what determines how much fat cells retain and burn. Training is good psychologically though because it sucks so technically you can do anything.

If you have to ask, it's because you probably don't do much exercise, so yes

Can you do both? I lift and squat but I don't run much because of a knee injury.

Any tips for losing belly fat that has been growing recently? I've been doing a bunch of the ab and core workouts and I've tried cutting down on snacking as much as normal. Wonder if I'm on the right track.

Doing core workouts doesn't get rid of the fat on top of the core, it just makes the muscles under the fat stronger.
You can't lose fat from one section, you can only lose it from everywhere at once. So eat less, tubby.

Can you ride a bike?

Haven't tried it since my last bike collapsed while I was going downhill in full speed.

You can't pointburn fat. Just lose weight and pray to the god of gains.

>eat less,
It's not that simple since you have to keep eating no matter what.

get into swimming/kayaking/climbing etc if you can
Dont keep lifting weights if you have already killed your joins. Lifting massive weights is a meme. Let yourself recover and then stick to normal weights

The fat around the belly gets bunred last.

What's the healthiest diet one can have? I eat nothing but wholegrain pasta, lean meat, onions and mushrooms while working out and I'm a total fatass about to keel over every day.

>It's not that simple since you have to keep eating no matter what.
lol what

weight loss is 90% done in the kitchen. Just eat less or fast.

calories, its all calories for weight loss. Eating a "healthy" diet helps everything else.
Take in more energy than you need, your body stores it away
Consume less energy than you need, your body uses reserves

If I don't train I can go all day without eating, too busy playing vidya. But the hunger I get after lifting is like a black hole in my stomach.

I really hate that two of my strongest attacks are the stupid yoga poses, they're boring and I don't feel like I achieve anything by doing them, but I do way less damage if I choose the actual workouts like squats or front press.

Stop eating fake foods user

Imagine how stinky her crotch is haha...

Why is she exercising? She's perfect

Did you start recently?

So you don't ~have~ to keep eating, you're just a big bitch who can't handle some hunger.

Sounds gay.

What do you even consider a massive weight.

Calculate "total" burned calories and compare it to your junk food.

It feels like no one here actually used to run more or less competitively. Yes, it feels good, yes it can be great supplementary activity if you want to lose weight, but for fucks sake only ultra marathoners and other borderline autismo athletes can outran shit diet (they actually need to eat pasta other high caloried foods, lol).

Is this game fun? Should I even consider getting it if I'm a bonemaxxed skeleton and don't want to lose weight?

I played apex legends with a brit from Zig Forums last year. He was cool but he was also moving to the USA anyway so not sure that counts

No, for the past 14 years. No smoking, drinking or eating out ever in my life.

It's always good to do cardio regardless of weight for general health reasons
