Bed of Chaos (Dark Souls)
Almost every boss in Demon's Souls
fucking stupid fight, it wasnt skill it was just luck
fuck this shit so hard, this game was super tedious and repetitive at this point anyways so i stopped playing it after this shit stain of a boss
Even though the game goes uphill after that, I can't blame you for doing what you did. That boss is fucking frustrating.
What were they thinking with him?
Also i'm still mad over pic related.
Yeah this fight wasn't great but was trivialised if you turn the difficulty higher to increase technical damage, then it's a cake walk
i may pick it up again but man i was so sick of the game cycle of "go do dungeon in a day because anything else is a disadvantage to you, then just do random shit for like 17 days until the cycle repeats." This blue skin dude just felt out of no where too, there was way more focus on morgana being a little spiteful bitch than this dude. I dont care at alll about haru, despite having a cool design
His palace is easily the fucking worst between the music, the morgana bitch fit, the puzzle at the end and the boss on top of it all. Easily the shittiest part of P5.
True. Such a black mark of the game. Even the visual aesthetic is lame compared to the other Palaces and doesn't fit the Phantom Thieves theme.
I still have no idea how the fuck you're supposed to even win against him. It's such a time sink of a fight that by the time you realize you won't get past the fifth wave of enemies you've already wasted over 20 minutes.
It would be one thing if the game gave you tips leading up to it or something but it just drops all this stupid bullshit on you at once and expects you to know how to deal with it. You just don't have enough time to wipe out the later waves of enemies before they run away because they're damage sponges outside of their few weaknesses.
the fight would instantly be fixed if they didnt fucking run away or self destruct.
>punishes people not playing on Merciless
Yep, I'm thinking it's the best fight in the series
What was wrong with it? I don't remember it being that bad.
Nyx is fucking kino though. When you mean awful, you're talking about night queen aren't you? Git gud
Why do personababs whine constantly about their piss easy game having one slightly challenging boss?
Hell I'd even be fine if you just got a single extra turn to deal damage to them. Because two turns isn't enough unless you go into the fight ahead of time knowing literally everything about the boss in order to counter things effectively. Shit just sucks.
The Okumara boss fight, from a story point of view, is objectively the best boss fight in the game. If only the mid section of the palace wasn't shit and the Morgana drama didn't happen, Okumara's palace would unironically be the best once after the first palace.
A bossfight that relies heavily on RNG and usually goes on for 45+ minutes each attempt is not well designed gameplay-wise.
The palaces are common places thieves rob in literature/media
Castles
Art museums
Casinos
Banks
Pyramids
Ships
?????Spaceport????
No fucking train but a random ass space port?
For each wave of enemies, you have to take them all out before any retreat in order to move onto the next wave. It's easy at first but can get really frustrating if they constantly suicide and retreat, meaning you have to reset the wave again, which wastes time. You have 30 minutes to get through everything, and those fuckers have so many moves to land crits on you that one slip up just leads to a reset.
The boss takes over half an hour unless you've grinded 15+ extra levels to use the 9999 fusion spell, and if you don't know to grind Narcissus Flower (which you most likely wouldn't know on your first playthrough unless you're a walkthroughfag) your team will get charmed and heal her back to FULL
>your forced to kill adds to continue the fight
Name a fucking worse boss mechanic in any game ever, i actually dare you
>it wasnt skill it was just luck
false
It was definitely the worst palace, and I don't blame you cuz if you're gonna quit somewhere, it might as well be there, but it was not in any way luck related
it's the worst palace before the best palace, Sae's Casino is easily the most varied and interesting palace the game has to offer
retarded opinion, it has no gravitas because Haru was a rushed character and the 'poll' was pointless bullshit you likely didn't give a fuck about
People had trouble with him?
they can't fuse demons good and forget that all the enemies are just reused from throughout the dungeon so you know their weaknesses already
Fucking Royal Rat Authority
>what if we did sif but with toxic and a bunch of adds and also worse hitboxes of course since it's DS2
Most of the bosses from Dark Souls 2 honestly, the Royal Rat Vanguard and the Congregation are embarrassing
The only truly great ones were the fume knight and mirror bro
Use technicals retard
this immediately sprung to my mind too, fucking awful boss
it was luck with everything i had at the time. I used all my items and spells to the best of my abilities, They either hard targeted my user who they were all weak to or they didnt. It was all luck
>There are people here who found Okumura hard
not hard, he was annoying.
>there are people who dont grind in RPG's
yes
Unironically change the difficulty to Merciless
you can find it bad without finding it hard
I think he means in terms of discovering the weaknesses of each of the robots without googling it and getting lucky in figuring it out fast enough before they all one shot your party
hyping up the boss before killing him in a QTE cutscene lmao
never gets old
It's not luck, it's preparation, like bosses in most MegaTen games, and it complements the fusion system well, and in P5R's case, it complements the Baton Pass system well. Okumura was a good fight and one of the only ones in the game that required more thought than none at all, I would have been glad to see more fights like that.
>sol nigger
>dragon eye
this fight is literally "cast 5 sukukajas and let jesus take the wheel".
