I just finished KH3 night before last and that five hour climax was such a clusterfuck.

KH2's ending is near perfect. The new threat is defeated, worlds return to normal, the trio is back on Destiny Islands, status quo is reached. The message in a bottle is a fun tease for new adventures but not a cliffhanger, the ending functions precisely without it. What a fucking mess.

KH3's pacing is pretty terrible. The DLC sort of makes up for it, but all in all it IS a clusterfuck

What’s strange about this to me is that this is legitimately the only other time Sora ever talks to Ansem, first time being the end of Kh1. Its weird that the main protagonist and the first antagonist never interact

I excused Namine because she is a special-case, shit, Roxas was too, considering they were injecting him with Sora memories.
I also really liked the meme for specific parts. It made Axel more tragic and the Demyx flip from acting like a coward to his deep-voice: "Silence, traitor" was awesome and intriguing aspect of Nobodies.

-Xion should've stayed dead. For a bunch of reason not the least of which being: it's not even possible for anyone to remember "her" existence

And, as I think through it I have to correct myself. The Destiny island trio did not get a happy ending, for some reason, only they are shafted.

The series has taken influence from Star Wars since the first fucking game. They double down on this in the second one, where Xemnas has a literal lightsaber and a Death Star. Big Hero 6 is practically Marvel capeshit without the charm. If you're telling me a world based on the OT, specifically A New Hope, wouldn't be better than half the shit we got in KH3, you're a contrarian zoomer looking to score boomer cred by hating on popular things. Step 1: Terra-Xehanort is what re-formed when Ansem and Xemnas died. He is the only Xehanort that is in the current time without time-travel and combines Terra's body with Xehanort's skill making this version the strongest possible.
Step 2: Don't include traitors and little girls that don't technically exist.
Step 3: Convert Disney bad guys. It's not like it even matters that much considering they were planning on using fucking Sora! "Nobody has the power of Gasxton!"
