It's for mobile again.

New Castlevania announced
Nice. I like.
CUT MY LIFE INTO PIECES
Will LOS2 ever get a follow up game ? I know it didn't do well but I really liked it desu.
why? didn't they just kill their last Castlevania mobile game because nobody cared about it? I don't think the English version ever even came out in america, just Canada.
>japanese games aren't dying guiz
Atleast it's not a pachinko machine
Canned after beta
Based.
Konami dismantles the team for the previous mobile game and has this one made by the chinese, truly the mind of a company that gives no fucks. With PES losing the market every year, I wonder how Konami will survive with just the pachinko and their gyms.
>mobile
Nothingburger
They killed the japanese team, this new game got shoved to the chinese, Konami is just lending the IP, just like a mobile Contra they made before.
>why
Because Konami. Also, this new game already existed in China as Project C or something, they're just reskinning with the actual Castlevania characters.
Konami doing Konami things, retard. Meanwhile. Capcom, Bandai Namco and Square Enix just profit each year.
>anime artstyle
i guess we just have to hope bloodstained takes off as a series, huh?
Good
to be fair, it looked like dogshit visually compared to this
Bloodstained was absolute dogshit so no, it better doesn't.
>Bloodstained was absolute dogshit
One can only dream
Bloodstained no matter how far it goes will still look like an upscaled mobile game. Igarashi will have to work with a decent sized AAA company to start making proper castlevania again or else it will feel no better than these chinese gacha copycats
not him but i backed it and was pretty dissapointed
it wasnt shit but it was certainly no better than mediocre
Konami killed themselves
Ironically most of the damage was caused by giving their hallowed franchises to westerners
>Bloodstained was absolute dogshit
(you)
it's already had 3 games under it's name, I trust Iga is happy with the IP
It had better artwork from a better artist though. A shame all those assets were used in a mobile that never came out of beta.
Didn't already? We have 3 games, one of them sold over 1 million, updates are still coming, IGA still wants to work on it.
The main game was pretty much the Castlevania equivalent of Mighty No. 9.and easily one of the worst Metroidvanias in years.
The 2D sidescroller was decent but at the end it was just a worse Castlevania 3.
>konami is japanese games
no, it's just a retarded company, they don't represent anyone else
well, I guess there is always one person
i am diagnosing you with a terminal case of 'shit taste', im so sorry
another one styled after RotN at some point would be nice, hopefully with better visuals.
i got used to the visuals ultimately, but would still prefer some good pixel art. imagine if it looked like blasphemous.
i hope so, i like castlevania, but its pretty clear we are never getting another proper game
why do they keep toying with me
why do they do this
it can't be that hard to make a real game and it's not like there's no more ideas to draw from one of the biggest idea pools ever in theology
just make a real fucking game
That's just like your opinion, man. MN9 was shitted everywhere, Bloodstained was met with way more positive reviews from critics and fans of the genre than shitposters want to believe.
>but its pretty clear we are never getting another proper game
that goes for every konami IP buddy
What part of Konami stopped being an actual game developer company you don’t understand? They see themselves as some multi-entertainment company, video games are a complete afterthought to Konami, the only game they actually gives any attention these days is PES because it still makes some money.
Mobile again?
Fuck you Konami
>MN9
the comparison starts and ends at it being on Kickstarter and having Inti Creates involvement.
it's like saying Lords of Shadow is the Skyrim equivalent of Castlevania
sure, but castlevania is the only one i care about.
>chinese
Im not supporting some that came from people that killed my friend, nuke china
Tell that to the guy who makes the daily "every day until Metal Gear Rising 2".
Any time people says that Konami is dead as a videogame company, he always pulls some Japanese links where Konami talks about hiring new people and increasing their electronic entertainment division's budget as absolute proof that they're secretly making amazing videogames.
Goddamn that's some shitty art.
>China trash
They have no standards over there so it will be shit
>Mobileshit
>3d
>Doesn't even play like Castlevania
Konami are the guys who could snap their fingers and make the magic happen but they're like "nah". At least IGA got a new Franchise
>Contra
>Z.o.E.
>Gradius
>Goemon
>Suikoden
>Silent Hill
>MG
and many more, there won't ever be any unless Konami sells and that will never happen
I said this in one of the Eiyuden/Suikoden threads yesterday: I think Konami will always outsource their franchise from now on, like what they did with that last 3D Contra game and now this Chinese Castlevania. There's no one there that cares, as long as they get their royalties for the use of their IP.
they do have standards but they have the terrible obsession of making a perfectly fine video game and taking a massive smelly shart right on top of it with gacha systems.
and then halfway into the game you find out it's missing half of its story mode campaign and it will never be released because they are too busy making new banners for ever stronger characters for PVP and retarded events with instakill bosses that give you some OP relic that makes your characters stronger but you'll never get it because to have a chance against that boss you need a full team of rank S characters with 0,0001% draw chance
>Chinamania
but there will always be a bunch of shills telling you it's absolutely possible to beat the retarded events with F2P characters you need to grind for months
>the only games they actually give any attention these days is PES and bemani games because they still make some money.
ftfy
you say this, but look at sega outsourcing IP's
