They are a weird luck based RPG series which only strong points are the customisable robots with so really cool deisgns, the Gameboy ones have aged like fucking gorgonzola. They do get better with the later entries, but still.
Add to that the west's indifference to robots and you get the perfect recipe for a non-marketable series.

it will never be localized, not a single Medarot game has been localized since the GBA ones. As for classics, if the said classic didn't get localized at its time, it won't be localized in the future either regardless collection or not (i.e.: Pokémon Card GB 2 - Here Comes Team GR!).

I wish they'd do something like this with Mega Man Battle Network, and slap on online play. If they released two versions then I'd suck it up and buy it twice too, just like I did for all the originals.

I finally bought his model kit a while back, I was so happy with it

I don't know man, I tried the 1st game and it was horrible looking with awful gameplay, I tried the 2nd game and it was a huge graphical improvement but they upped the encounter rate to suicidal degrees, I tried the GBA one and it was like a completely different game, somehow in a bad sense. And the anime was fine, I guess. I'm willing to give this series one more try, since the more recent games might be better, but still I think you really need to be bot-fapper to enjoy this series.
