To answer your original question, I'd urge you to continue with release order - MGS4 > PW > MGSV.
Portable Ops is loosely canon, and could be played before or after MGS4, or skipped entirely.
Rising is an optional spinoff game taking place furthest in the timeline - YMMV. Fun gameplay loop, short game, shitty story, great bosses, great music.
