Well?

Well?

Top is for chads like me, bottom is just stupid

Top because of the way your thumb naturally rests. Never understood people who jump with A.

I've only ever used the bottom when I forgot to change the default setting in Super Mario All Stars.

Top. Always top. Bottom is retarded and only works if you're an Asian midget who's tiny even on the hands. Even Nintendo knew this in the SNES era.

DS and 3DS was retarded for having amnesia over this setup in some games.

Top for Mario.
Bottom for Metroid.

>doesn't even give you a choice except bottom

Bottom is only good for claw grip, which doesn't make sense on an NES controller but might be reasonable on a playstation or xbox controller depending on the game.

remap to L and R

>being a bottom
pretty gay desu

Faggot

top allows for perfect transition from running to jumping, bottom stunts this transition.

top please

Is that you, super metroid?

Top one. I just instantly drop games which use the other one because they were designed by retards and have nothing to offer me.

>the chad top
>rest your thumb on both buttons, readily available to jump in an instant

>the virgin bottom
>jump button completely untouched, have to awkwardly jerk your thumb to the right every time you want to jump

I don't like either, if this isn't allowed then:
Y - Jump
B - Run

Do people actually play like this

Like this

Top.
Bottom is ok but only for the Joycon so I can rotate it.

Default is the top

Top

All because of MegaMan zero on gba

Imagine answering bottom lol.

that setup is for Megaman X

Dash with L or R, shoot with Y and jump with B

first but now it's X/A because the 3ds forces you to play GBA games like that and I remapped my controls for everything around it

I use it to tap the dpad/face buttons while keeping my thumbs on the analogs, but it's only a temporary switch, I don't grip it like that constantly.

Depends on the game. Some games you need to if you want to move camera and do inputs at the same time. It’s why controllers are so garbage for most genres.

fpbp

Jump is -always- the bottom most button. X on xbox and B for snes.

Dash can be the right side button, attack left side button. Ideally you can map dash to a shoulder button in some cases.

Lets get some Kart racer controversy going.

Bottom if using a mouse, top if the game is entirely keyboard driven.
