Not that guy, but it doesn't sound quite so simple. I'm guessing there are way too many feral cats in rural areas, so arguably just setting them loose would decimate local wildlife, plus half of them would likely die a horrible death by starvation. It's very easy to sit in a developed, detached suburb and judge people for killing innocent animals, but it's not like they can just take a dozen cats to a local shelter, and if they did the shelter would 100% euthanize them anyway due to the same overpopulation concerns.
