Radeon has improved but it's arguably still inferior from a stability and featureset standpoint to GTX or RTX. That COULD change if they do actually release 7 some 7nm cards with good drivers.

to be fair i have had a 970 literally since a month after they released and this has been a literal non-issue. i only noticed it occuring a few days ago when i try to play Death Stranding with Very High texture streaming.
