How will graphics look in 10 years? (PC only obviously)

Still looks better than any ps5 title
;^)
Compare Red Dead Redemption 2 to Batman Arkham Asylum. They're 10 years apart.
>PC only obviously
Well if we're talking PC, it will all look like the same basic indie/low budget shit that most PC gamers choose to play.
>lowered crosshair
ew
16k resolution, 24fps, enough motion blur to give a blind man motion sickness, 897ms input lag.
Compare OPs game to Crysis 3. Graphics barely moved.
>the PS7 will make PCs obsolete!!
holy shit, I didn't know that was even a thing
I immediately refunded The Outer Worlds because of this.
Exactly the fucking same but the size of the average game will be 50gb. AAA games will clock in around 200gb.
that's today though
UE5 right now already has real-time decimation of super high poly objects and some wizard shit that lets it have 8k textures on small rocks, so in a few years when we sort out real time raytracing it will look almost, if not completely like real life, depending on the developer. With the graphics pretty much settled people will have to finally innovate in other areas, probably animation, definitely using neural networks in games for shit. UE4 already has the Chaos engine for real-time destruction of objects but it's not nearly as good as it could be in the future.
we're already there, user. warzone, with only one gamemode and one map, is 100gb. modern warfare as a whole is 200gb.
Graphics cards will get better, graphics will get a little bit better.
hopefully photorealism will be achieved and everyone got bored of it so people can start experimenting with different art styles again and not just in indie
Must suck having autism
>i prefer realistic natural graphics instead of artsy indie shit, fuck me right?
Twilight Princess looks better than windwaker and Skyward Sword
Ten years was the length of time in between Doom and Half Life 2, or Quake II and Crysis.
Insane leaps in graphical technology are dead. Videogames in 10 years will be almost indistinguishable from ones today. They may even regress as SJW women and trannies with no videogame experience take over the industry.
Realer than real life...
>Screen shot taken from base Xbox one.
The games industry is filled with talentless hacks, so it won't be very different from the last 10 years.
they cute

i don't really agree, i think they'll 100% be way better looking, just not as much of a jump as ps2 era to ps3 era, with that said what i really worry about is gamescope stagnating, there hasn't been a game that has really blown my mind in terms of gameplay features in over a decade, like how we keep hearing about games where "our choices matter" but they barely do, how about the next leap is making those choices ACTUALLY matter, easier said than done, just a dude talking shit online, but still, outside of graphics games have been pretty much the same and it's really getting tiresome
looks like uncharted with more rocks
They'll peak with the newest battlefield
Style is the future
We'll be going back to Quake 1 style graphics because we're running out of materials to make electronics.
I don't know if it will improve much, in fact, even though the graphics have technically gotten better, they don't look great a lot of the time, and for many games, I can picture them looking more atmospheric and well made. Speaking of, what are some atmospheric games you guys recommend.
I know I hate it, I got Far Cry 5 recently, and it's annoying. Why are they doing this to games.
What's wrong with lowered crosshair? I have it lowered for Halo and Destiny because otherwise the weapons are huge.
