Anything after the current-day /vr/ cutoff point isn't classic and never will be. It's like calling Nickelback or Linkin Park classic rock.

The MP is great. The high TTK makes it one of the best shooters there are. It's just not about AUTO AIMING and shooting, but has combos to kill fast.

The Halo design is actually quite clever. They knew consoles were shit to play as FPS, so they made the rules around the AA not being the only defining factor. 2 weapons that combine along with power weapons, nice sandbox gameplay and designs make a great arena shooter.

343 doesn't understand this though. Any indie game that copied Halo did, but not 343. Play Murder Miners and you'll see.

I think that was just CE and Reach. It might have been in 5 but I never bothered with it.

It is just nostalgia. I remember loving it as a kid. I tried halo 3 now and it’s just boring. I still like other games from the era like l4d2 and some cods but halos core gameplay sucks. I remember having more fun playing fat kid and messing around in forge mode.

It's funny because when Halo CE came out I really loved shooters and Halo clicked with me as a good shooter very quickly. Meanwhile my friends who preferred fighting games and JRPGs mainly to FPS games were on the elitist hate bandwagon, they didn't even play FPS games but were so sure Halo had ruined it. It's amazing that after all this time they're still at it

Pretty much this. People praise it for shit like the co op but there are other games that do it better, it's multiplayer is also just mediocre compared to stuff like quake, tf2, and even cod.

Stopped reading right there, you clearly don't know anything about halo.
On legendary difficulty, you can kill most weak enemies in one shot, elites in two (plasma pistol + headshot), and regular brutes in a couple of headshots. The only difficult ones are the shielded brutes, but there are very few of those in the entire game.

It has always been a simple campaign of you playing as dude in green suit against improbable odds playing coop with your friends. The muiltiplayer was never meant to be competitive but a fun past time you did when you got off of work or school to play splitscreen with your buddy's. Tired of you PC and PS fags ruining Halo by false flagging the game.
