>its all so tiresome
Its all so tiresome
This is why emulation is okay
Thankfully, it's easy to pirate.
I'd say that hopefully the 3D Mario collection will lower the price, but the price of Earthbound cartridges didn't lower when it was put on the eShop, did it?
Especially Nintendo games
no, Earthbound with box and manual goes for 600dollars
is this because of freeTrumpBucks?
just pirate.
nobody gives a fuck about your physical collection. just give up and pirate what you want to play.
soulless niggers
Dolphin is one of, if not THE best emulators out there. I've got a toaster that I bought for $1 that can run Sunshine perfectly, or at least at native resolution
I don't emulate, but I pirate on the original hardware. Literally 0 difference from your $500 copy.
How come no one has new copies?
Are they hiding the best for last?
why would you want new one
ebay/amazon prices do not reflect the actual price of these games you'll find in retro stores, conventions or online shops
they are made by individuals who ramp up the price hoping for a retard to fall for it
mario sunshine is around 30 dollars in your average retro store
but people seem to buy them...alot even with inflated prices
yes, those are retards
what's your point?
im just puzzled who anyone would be content to spend 100bucks for an old mario game
retro stores dont exist anymore
maybe were you live
we got them here in yurop, I doubt they don't exist in america
so if you live in south america or australia? I'm sorry, but you get fucked over by video game prices even if they're new anyway
Just pirate it and emulate it like a smart person.
>buying non digital games
>in the current year
Literally all modern games got a patch after release. Buying physical copies is just retarded because you have to download the patch anyway if you want the version with less bugs.
The retro bubble's a real bitch. Shame it never popped. I was into collecting stuff before prices really started inflating around ~2011 when tumblr teens started getting into retro vidya and reseller scumbags caught wind of the trend. Used to be able to get games like that for $12, sometimes with free shipping.
>retro stores dont exist anymore
Tell that to the store where I recently bought Virtua Fighter Remix in the long box for only $15? Take a guess how much it's actually worth.
>gamecube emulation
>good
it’s over....
There's appeal to hooking up a Gamecube to a television and playing a game over emulation. You have more freedom via emulation in that you can tweak settings and mod games to your liking, but being able to just press a button, maybe open a disc drive to pop in a game, and get straight to it with little to no setup is nice as well.
>Post-release patches
>Gamecube
No, YOU are the retard
They keep rereleasing gamecube controllers again and again for the smashies, but optical disc pressings seem to be a one shot deal.
Really makes you think
Fuck I remember when Gamedude was paying like 15 bucks for it and selling it for 25 or so.
I can't fathom the prices ever going down again either. As time goes on life is only getting shittier making millennials more and more nostalgic for this stuff. Buy now before it's too late bros.
>Buying physical copies is just retarded because you have to download the patch anyway if you want the version with less bugs
You'd want to buy the physical version if patches change something, whether implementing framerate caps, or removing content to censor it (Estival Versus or Assassin's Creed Unity)
I was the same way with the old Pokemon cards about 9-10 years ago. I managed to finish off a full, shadowless Base set along with first edition Jungle and Fossil sets. Fast-forward to today, and I can't even fathom some of the prices for the older cards. Starting to get that itch again, but after looking at how much card prices have inflated, I'm not so sure anymore.
I Have a copy sitting 5 feet from me. Have no intention of every playing it again, lol.
Nigger what? Dolphin is hands down the best emulator
