The mission objectives can get repetitive, yes. But the combat is fun enough to keep it interesting, especially when you unlock the skate ability. The game can be beat in about 6 hours if you ignore the side stuff. For 30 bucks I think its ok, but if the combat doesn't seem fun to you, then don't bother.
