Apologize and say something nice about the Wii U
The edge of the discs felt real smooth.
I enjoyed the HD ports of WW and TP, and I enjoyed basking in the autism that was Miiverse.
It had the best version of deus ex human revolution
I can't. It's just too shitty.
I can appreciate how many games tried to make use of the gamepad in creative ways and i kind of miss it
I think it implements the switching gimmick way better than the Switch does. The Wii U you can switch between "portable" and console mode with basically the press of a button. You can turn on the TV, change the TV volume, do everything all from the gamepad. The Switch you have to stand up walk over detach the joycons slot the console in walk back it's a fucking nightmare by comparison.
Honestly the Wii U internet browser alone made it worth it. Almost 10 years of cartoons, TV shows, youtube, anime, whatever the fuck I want to watch, all free. Websites are finally starting to break en masse on it though, god help me when the last good ones run their course. I've watched just about every show I watched in the past decade on that thing.
No.
The controllers werent fucking garbage and actually lasted
The final Nintendo console with acceptable online.
The marketing killed it. Starting with its name.
>You can turn on the TV, change the TV volume, do everything all from the gamepad
Unless of course you have one of the many TVs it didn't support. Also no it didn't do the switching thing better given it wasn't actually portable while the switch is.
Once I get my 2nd check I'm getting black Diesel Jeans (the kind John Marston wears), some OG Xbox games and a Wii U (brand new).
Big Nintendo fanboy here.
Wii U was the biggest piece of shit console i ever bought.
Not only was the console shit in comparisson to any other Nintendo consoel in therms of exclusives the concept was also trash and never properly used.
There were not even a handful games that properly used the gamepad.
Not only that Nintendo didnt even use it properly.
And look at the exclusives:
Switch is less years on the market and has more exclusive games and more games overall and much more Third Party Support.
Also the UI at the start and even at the end of the Wii U:
Jesus Christ it was so slow it took 20 fucking seconds to go from a game back to the starting screen.
RE: Revelations was alot more fun on this console than any other
Looking back, none of it mattered
I wish i spent more time on something that did. Instead of discussing product
Xenoblade X is great.
Mario Maker was fun.
>Big Nintendo fanboy here.
>Gladium
No you aren't.
how did mario maker 2 flop so hard though
the home menu was comfy and I miss miiverse
I used the internet browser to coom when I was too lazy to get out of bed and get on my PC.
Did anyone use this?
It didn't.
>expensive gamepad that even nintendo failed to implement properly
>what you got in return was higher mrsp and weaker hardware
Outside of the name in the end this is what killed it for me.
It’s no better or worse than the Switch but somehow the Switch is selling gang busters and the Wii U failed.
Wii U will probably be the last Nintendo console I ever own.
>what you got in return was higher mrsp
Uh, it was still the cheapest console on the market user.
something nice about the wiiu
It had more worthwhile exclusives than the Xbone and PS4. Until they all got ported to the Switch, of course.
It barely produced fidelity superior to the XBOX360, especially in the early days.
The world ended in 2012. It began ending in 2008. The Wii U failed due to the aura change that had taken place. If the auras hadn't shifted in 2008, the wii u would have been just as popular as the wii. If
The world has been ending for roughly 13.8 billion years, and it will keep ending for way way longer than that before reaching thermal equilibrium.
