Is there anything wrong with this character design?

If the basis of Sora took information from Mickey Mouse( hence the red suit and yellow shoes) Nomura probably took into consideration the size of Mickey's shoes as well and how they're also cartoonishly large.This design choice was probably just carried over for most of the other characters as well, since the style is more cartoonish then most standard anime designs(Until the anime tropes started kicking in after stuff like CoM and 2, hence why the shoes get progressively smaller).It was probably just easier to draw as well.

To be fair, KH3's character models are more CG-Disney like than anime. Just compare them to The World of Final Fantasy's character models or Xenoblade 2's Nomura characters.

Its fine. Better then her design in 2. Its like Nomura stripped whatever personality Kairi had in her design from 1 and just made her "the girl".

Even the model quality of 3 cant hide the fact that Nomura's design principles were more geared towards selling a hip fashion line rather then Disney's design principals.

Yeah it's a Disney homage, though it seems to be a thing more on the young characters, while the older characters still have above average hand and foot size it's not as noticeable.
