About to build a new gaming PC, is AMD the way to go these days?
It's nVidia + nVidia
Amd for cpu and Nvidia for you
Absolutely avoid amd gpu, drivers are trash
Nvidia gpu*
not even if I already own a freesync monitor?
trying to stream and do something like render for work or just wanna save money for 1-20 fps less in high fps games and 5-10 in low AAA games?amd want the highest possible fps but for pretty hefty price if money isnt an issue?intel and dont buy amd gpus
Freesync works with Nvidia cards too
Ryzen is the first good shit AMD has made since the FX days
only if the monitor has a displayport which isn't the case for mine sadly as it was one of the earliest to support freesync
Don't just wait until next gen comes since it's ddr5
no I waited too long, I want to build a PC now
Fine when it's completely outdated and worthless in 2y don't complain.
DDR5 is gonna be shit for the first few years like every other time. Cheap 3600 DDR4 is fine with an SSD
Sure when you lose 20 fps in everything have fun
Lol you don't know how memory works
I know you can improve fps on the same pc with an ssd by just going from slow to fast ram by 7fps.If you think fps won't change between different ram your an idiot. You can gain load times with better ssds but at the extremes you can gain 2fps.
Intel CPU + AMD GPU is the best price/frame
Yeah it's fine, even with gsync off the tearing is minimal
this op
ddr5 is years away retard
AMD CPU + Nvidia GPU
Make sure to buy at least 16GB 3000mhz RAM, to make full use of the CPU, HOWEVER don't buy those meme 3600, 4000mhz RAM, as those are all fake, they're just overclocked 3200mhz sticks.
Also buy a decent cooler, not sure if it's just me, but the new AMD stock coolers are kinda shit
this sums it up
get the amd shit that has a gorrilion cores
avoid AMD GPUs nowadays, the last good one was RX580
but for CPU got AMD
Get a 8c16t AMD CPU and a good Nvidia GPU
help me Zig Forums, extremely poorfag in a 3rd world cuntry here. which one do I buy, the only good options i have got is i5 9400f or an i7 7700?
in addition, i also kinda want to run emulators, the yuzu and whatnot
Ryzen 3700 and Nvidia 2070 super is best combo right now.
I7.
I couldn't find me 7700k unfortunately. thanks user.
>I REPEAT SHILL TALKING POINTS I AM VERY SMART
Ritght now it makes no sense to purchase a CPU since the Zen 3s are going to hit the market and make prices drop overall
9400f
Should I upgrade my 2600x and vega 56 for Hitman 3?
So I just got myself a 1440p 144hz monitor to actually make my 5700XT work and holy shit, I really didn't think the jump from 60hz to 144hz would be so noticable. I figured I'd be able to tell the difference because of my OCD/autism but I didn't think it would be THIS noticable.
