Dropped it at the desert. It's just wasn't that fun. All i really wanted from an open world metro was the library dlc but as a full game.

boring as fuck. I hate how it constantly takes away control from the player and the constant cut scenes and train segments are cancer.

replayed the STALKER trilogy a few months back and it was pure fucking gold (not so much clear sky). I hate the fact you just know STALKER 2 is gonna be metro exodus 2.

It was OK. The Ubisoft open-world elements didn't really add anything to the game, caspian sea was especially bad. Artyom being a mute is still as dumb as ever, in Exodus especially since every NPC pours their hearts to you but you can't respond in any way. Very jank and the launch state of the game was a disaster. The last level however was really good, almost so good that it's worth playing the game just for that last level. If the whole game was more like that and less like the caspian sea, it would have been GOTY. Overall, it's a solid 6/10.

It's telling that the only great part of the game is the final area in which it becomes much more linear and similar to the original game.

Gameplay was a little rough and some parts of the story a little shit and generally lower tier than other Metro, but still bleeds soul. Midway through you realise its not a a Metro game but a roadtrip with the bois game. Name a better roadtrip with the boys game (that isn't soulless bugpeople weebshit).

Pirated Exodus. The only good part was the train sections with Anna.

The surface is supposed to be so bad that you can only go out with protective equipment. You would know this if you actually played any of the games.

But you hardly even see the bois, only on the train between missions and occasionally during a mission for a single scene. Only good interactions were on the train and the slog through the Novosibirsk metro with Miller.

it is that bad in areas that were actually nuked. how do you think that the entirety of the planet would require that level of protection. doesn't even make sense.

Each chapter focuses on one of them, you raid the bunker together, you raid the trade ship together, you defend desert camp together, and you can always go back to the camp and see whats goin on and there is always dialogue and character development. 'Only on train' is like half the game and the main theme.
