XV was alright. the gameplay was grindy and repetitive but it didn't bother me that much. also, even though muh roadtrip seems just like a cheap angle to get you to like the characters, it worked on me. it added a comfy element to the game and made the emotional ending work. also I thought the graphics were really good, it probably would've been a better game if they'd focused less development time on the graphics, but nonetheless it's still a pretty game
there's barely a plot/lore at all until the last 2 chapters of the game
