I was disgusted by the idea until I played that demo, I'm sold. Day 1 buy.
Observation -might- scratch the itch, you'd have to check out youtube vids to see if it's what you're after though. Less game and more narrative driven

Steam version keeps crashing for me though what I've played of it looks nice and plays well
Nothing inherently wrong with Unity as a game engine, what's wrong is shits like Code Hatch trying to make a quick profit using pre-bought assets

Yes, they’ve done a good job so far. Melee combat needs some improvement and it has optimization issues but otherwise it’s neat

System Shock 2 is on a space ship and definitely has horror elements. Prey 2017 is on a space station but really isn’t all that scary but they are both good games that are worth playing
