New update announced for Sekiro, releasing this October
>challenge any boss again after beating them once
>new costumes
>boss rush mode
>Souls-style hint system
>"FromSoftware will release an update for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice this fall that will add three new features: a boss rush mode that will let players relive the game’s most challenging battles; new costumes for the game’s protagonist; and a way to send online messages to help other players, similar in style to Dark Souls and Bloodborne.
Sekiro’s new boss rush mode will let players battle boss-level enemies individually or consecutively in the Reflection of Strength and Gauntlet of Strength modes, respectively. “Extraordinary foes that once stood in the way of victory can be fought again and again to your heart’s content,” FromSoftware said"
>Players can also change the Wolf’s appearance, with three new forms. Two are confirmed: “Old Ashina Shinobi” and “Tengu.” Two of these new outfits can be unlocked via the Gauntlet modes, while the third is unlocked by beating the game
>Finally, Sekiro’s update will add a new feature called Remnant recordings. These recordings of gameplay, up to 30 seconds long, will send a phantom-like version of the Wolf to other players’ games and can be paired with a message. “Share strategies and hints via network to broaden the scope of play,” FromSoftware said. Players can rate another player’s Remnant, which will give the creator HP recovery.
Holy shit it's real. My only question is why make such a random update this late in its release.
SEKIROCHADS
My thoughts exactly. Seems like this should have came out October of LAST year.
Either way, it's a good excuse for me to go back after getting the platinum.
But why so late? It's been a year and half since the game came out
RICELOLI ADVENTURE DLC WHEN
After elden ring
If *anything* it's a bone toss for the fans who were disappointed they didn't get any DLC. In this situation something is better than nothing and better late than never. The fact they're making anything this late is evidence enough the game is still on their minds and I'm definitely expecting a Sekiro 2 immediately after Elden Ring or the next game.
Never. See you in 2031, when Sekiro II comes out.
Didn't think about the sequel. You may be right.
What's even more baffling to me is that this is an Activision published title releasing free DLC...
>Dumping hard on Ghost
ALL SMILES
I personally know one faggo that only worships Fromsoft games and when I say Fromsoft games I mean he only enjoys Dark Souls rolling and attacking rolling and attacking and the faggy pvp. And every time From releases a game with no PvP my laughter towards him will grow louder and louder until my lungs fucking explode. I can only pray Elden Ring has ZERO pvp and no builds for autistic retards to crunch numbers with. Eat shit, PvE will always be king.
This update is nice though. Sekiro must have been an even bigger success than initially expected.
No DLC featuring Tomoe, no care.
I loved Sekiro but felt zero need to play it again after the first playthrough.
It wouldn't even be very challenging once you've already learned the boss parry timing.
But no real new content? ~yawn~
sorry user she was just toomoe for this game
What will the tengu outfit look like?
Neat
WHERES IS ELDEN RING YOU FUCKS
>It wouldn't even be very challenging
Multiple boss endings. Owl will fuck you up
TENGU OF ASHINA
>SEKIRO UPDATE HOL-
>launches November
Gtfo
based
Nobody wants that HBO horseshit
but why
Fucking kek
The more imagined the more she shattered
Did you try a charmless playthrough?
The changes to the deflection mechanic really make you step up and git gud. Much more intense gameplay than normal.
because the fat fuck is taking way too fucking long so miyasaki felt bad about fromsoft fans
>Oct 29
so wheres the spooky stuff?
>Flopsoft so intimidated by Ghost of Kinoshima that they rush out a half-backed update no one cares about
OH NO NO NO
already in the game
They said earlier that it sold 5 million copies which is pretty good
It's getting released on Stadia soon so that's probably why.
>when you bought sekiro on release but haven't played through it yet
laziness wins again
How are they intimidated by GOT?
Sekiro has already sold millions of copies
paid content is old news user, EA and Activision have been doing free updates for a bit now.
>rush out
>releasing in October
He already finished everything he had for ER months and months ago
Look I get it, you dont have anything to post but you want to participate.
But at least keep your shitposting up to date user.
This means that FromSoft hasn't completely abandoned Sekiro yet...
Which means we might get a DLC or a sequel in the future
I'd be up for anything desu
Never liked Dark Souls, Sekiro was kino though. I actually hope Elden Ring will follow a similar combat system to Sekiro's, even if it's unlikely
cope
dumb retard
Free content updates have been the norm for a while. The big publishers have all realized that there's more money in keeping people attached to games for as long as possible so they'll pony up for merch and microtransactions.
>got goty
>sold millions
>releasing on another platform alongside the update
>B-B-BUT MUH EXCLUSIVES
Come on now nigga both games are great for completely different reasons.
Wow, literally nothing. Why waste time on this shit? The game's not selling anymore
>new costumes
maybe I'll play now
owl user
Thought you were long dead
its releasing on another platform
if they're making free content 1 and a half year later, that means the game is still selling
really hoping boss rush doesn't find its way into elden ring, unless there's some justification like sekiro's reflections. even then it teeters on being arcadey.
Go away
