I use windows because I want a computer that is actually viable for 100% of the things I want to do. I don't want to fuck around with stupid ass CLI shit to install 3rd party drivers for shit just to get one game to work out of a dozen I play right now.

Even if Linux was viable 90% of the time I still wouldn't use it.

Hell, if you can run even MPC-HC through Proton nowadays, you should be able to run anything.

Demonstrate to me I will get comparable performance in videogames on it then. I'm not talking about MPC-HC, I have PS4 for those kinds of games.

To be fair, you can't run everything flawlessly on Windows 10, and even when games do run flawlessly, it's not always like that out-of-the-box; it doesn't always "just work" the way you guys claim it does. You wouldn't need a wiki dedicated almost entirely to fixing shit on Windows if that were the case.

Fewer games work on Linux, obviously, but enough of them work that I literally just don't use Windows anymore.

Also, this is extremely anecdotal and isn't meant to be a statement about Linux gaming in general, but here's a thing I posted earlier which I'm too lazy to type again:

From about 2007 to 2010 GNU/Linux was my main OS and I didn't even have the options everyone has today. That said, I seccumbed to playing more than classic titles.

Yeah, no. I tried to play Persona 4 on my laptop with arch Linux and all I got was a black screen with proton.
