Yeah it's pretty good. Not a whole lot of games out there that are purely 1v1s and Furi does a good job at it.
it was good but flawed
the gameplay was shallow but it's simple in a pleasant way and works well enough to be engaging
also the edge has got to be one of my favorite boss fights ever
Severely based. Actual video game.
Yeah. It was about everything it needed to be gameplay-wise, story moments were more about setting up the bosses and worldbuilding, the artstyle is solid, and the soundtrack is amazing. Some people say the combat is shallow but it's really not any more basic than anything that isn't a character action game.
yes, but i hate the interlude bits where you've got to slowly walk for 10 minutes while the rabbit dude bores you with the story and the camera keeps flipping around so you don't even know which way to go
I disliked the final boss being pure bullet hell, but it was a great game regardless
>Charageable dashes
Chargeable
Fucking
Dashes
What the fuck
This mechanic made the game so so so much more annoying for me and I never needed to use the long dash (I didn't play furier). For the first hour, 50% of dashes failed just because it was designed like shit, for hours 2 and 3 that slowly dropped to 10%. Holy fuck, what a shitty idea. I see it's purpose, but why the fuck is not a toggleable setting?
Anyway, good game besides that, true final boss is a bit shit too. 8/10.
I played it on pc and never had any probleme with the super dash it didn't feel forced for me maybe it has something to do with your controller
and charged dash are extremly important in furier
yeah. i had fun.
It was fun. I did find the final boss (not the one that was supposed to make you feel bad) to be super annoying to fight especially because it was a pure shootemup
good game, I play the soundtrack in my car
I liked it. Fuck the red guy with the oar though.
1. There's an auto walk
2. It helped show off the pretty environments
3. Created a mood either hyping up the next fight or wrapping up the last one
4. Let the player reset their mental
I really thought I was going to like it but ended up not caring for it. The schmup/bullet hell sections weren't fun to play and the fact that the last boss was pure shooting pissed me off. Pretty telling that my favorite fights were probably the guy with the sword and board and the guy with the oar.
is this a good game?
good game, had fun
didn't know about the auto-walk that would have been helpful, but i don't care what the game is having a guy talk at you for 10 minutes while you can't do anything isn't good storytelling
I liked it, but I was sad that it was over. Beat it in a day, nothing to bring me back to play it more.
yes, great game but quite short
Then just play Practice Mode and skip all the exposition.
furier ?
It's probably because I'm extremely used to click and dash instantly. This is the first time I have played a game with such a mechanic, which is why it was really hard to get used to it. I'm just upset that it's not a toggleable setting, I get it's purpose, but let me play without it, please, it's such a pain in tye ass for me.
I used a keyboard. How do you use a controller for tight moving, sounds annoying.
hard mode changes things up big time
>mfw the first boss mopped the floor with me
me too and the fact that the dodge goes the direction my mouse is aiming instead of the direction I'm moving killed me way too many time but I just adapted
Sounds like it was somewhat recently added? I pirated it close to release so I played it, beat it in one or two sittings, and was finished. I'll take another look at it.
>nothing to bring me back to play it more.
hard mode?
sotc syndrome
worst quality is that you will never play it for the first time again
amazing soundtrack too

It's a perfect game. Not flawed in any way.

>I play the soundtrack in my car
Are you me? Easy on the accelerator though.
Okay combat but filled with tranny colors
Yes. Cope.
What does this even mean.
Why would you post something that you don't even believe yourself?
Hardmode The Edge was a fucking blast, especially the bit where it turns into a pseudo fighting game.
I believe tranny are worthless subhuman but assosiating color with tranny is straight up retarded
