haven't tried other than demon's souls. but i'd imagine that and dark souls 1 are what you want to play if something from those games.

I've marathoned every King's Field, Shadow Tower and Echo Night, yet can't arse myself to play every Souls game.

Demon's Soul is alright and has the valley of defilement but for the most part I don't return to that game too often.

BB combat is boring, and have none of the weight and feel of DS and DeS.
The world is also no where near as interesting as the other two.
DS2 and 3 are the definition of soulless sequels, just don't even bother.

BB bosses really aren't harder than DS bosses. There's a slight learning curve if you go into it expecting DS but it's not actually more difficult.

Dark 1 is trash
3 and Bloodborne are the best

Emerald Herald definitely has the best pussy of the series

IMO still the 2nd best game in series. Dark Souls still takes the top place though, because estus > grass healing, and I love its metroid-style interconnected world.

It literally has the best designed levels in the series with lots of shortcuts and reuse of bonfires.

Blood vial setup kills it completely. Literally more than half of those shortcuts are useless. People remember Grand Archives and Cathedral of the Deep more fondly than Hemwick Charnel Lane because of this.
