Which S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game was the best?

They each have their moments.
Agroprom underground and the labs in Shadow.
Bloodsucker lair, chimera hunt, and the train depot in Call of Pripyat.
I'm sure there are some for Clear Sky but I honestly don't remember my playthrough of that game much. And those are just examples, there are plenty more great moments. In the end it doesn't matter which is better because if you like one then you'll like the others.

Pushing through the old hospital with the boys in blue was probably the least shit endgame shooting gallery out of the three, though my favourite moment from CS is wiping out a Freedom base in the dead of night while it pisses down with rain and the only sources of light are fires and flashes of lightning.

one thing that pissed me off in SoC was random pointless side quests which played like some shitty MMORPG. In latter games they changed it proper quests

you have to download an FPS limiter or if you have Nvidia just use the control panel to dump it down

user it's not that the vsync doesn't limit the framerate, the vsync literally doesn't exist. it does nothing, it is a nonfunctional part of the menu

God I hope so. I'm nervous they're just gonna make a metro knock off. I love metro as well but stalker is something special and I want more of that.

Its literally going to be battle royale with day one dlc.

Honestly if it was MMO-like where you create a character and basically just fuck around in the zone like you would in Single Player I would enjoy the shit out of it

The devs who managed to make slavjank magic are all gone, it could be shit, it could be good but it won’t be the same kind of good that made the first 3 special. I’m just hoping that the mod support is just as good so we can de-consoleify the pc release

There's already a handful of heavily STALKER inspired Rust clones on Steam. I want a classic singleplayer or maybe co op stalker game on a decent engine

Zoomers will destroy any kind of immersion just like they do in any survival mmo, if they allow private servers then you could have the potential for some great experiences but it’s coming out on consoles so I doubt it, and egomaniac autists will eventually ruin those anyway

Call of Pripyat is the best because all the quests are more fleshed out and tie into each other. Even the boring errand for the scientists has more to it than meets the eye.
