Danganronpa is the ultimate ironic weeb game.
it feels like a Western indie game, the fact it was actually made in Japan amazes me.
2 is better and 3 is better until chapter 6
I still like 2 and TSA, but the first is easily the best.
Just finished V3 and it was good
Im actually hyped for a 4th game regardless of the setting or plot, but meanwhile Im playing ultra despair girls because its the last game to finish.
All 3 are enjoyable in their own ways.

Ace attorney is different, you don't have the same characters, mini games or twists.
I already played and enjoyed both series tho

I enjoyed the idea of letting the player decide if the world really was fucked or if Junko was just fucking with you. It's so much more satisfying than learning that, yeah, the world is fucked beyond repair and now people have an unhealthy view not to save the world but to let the killing games continue until the 53rd iteration and even then who knows.
Danganronpa games are being removed from the playstation store soon. Idk why the Vita version is mostly higher than the ps4 version.

Focus on making a few good ones instead of that many mediocre ones.
Drop Hangman's gambit entirely, it was never good.
But in the universe where killing games continued until the 53rd entry, the world isn’t fucked. It’s completely normal except for the presence of televised killing games.
Is it worth playing V3? I just finished 2 thinking the same as OP, if all the 3rd one does is just retread old ground with new characters and more minigames I think I'm good, not like any of the spinoffs looked interesting either

I'm a bit conflicted on wether I like 1 or 2 more.
I feel like 1 was just cleaner all the way through, it did more things well and its lows weren't as low as the other entries. It ends on a cliffhanger tho which sucks
I liked first game the most, sure.
But that's because I rushed into 2nd after finishing it.
3rd is the most because characters are shit, not because of ending.

same here. I think what makes me like 1 more is simply the setting though. There were times where I felt on edge wandering the halls of the spooky school and I just never got that with 2.
also I feel like 2 would have been better if they cut the themepark island and spent more time on the second and third islands since you literally do nothing at that island anyways.

Literally the only 3 good things about it were Nagito, the beggining that has you confused as fuck I booted it up literally minutes after beating 1 and that confusion at the beggining was glorious and the case where nagito dies, I don't recall if it was 5 or 6
Don't get me wrong Nagito is a damn good char and that case is a damn good case, but everything else was just too fucking stupid.
1 Also has some stupid shit but I always feel like the stupid shit goes around the case and is more of a side thing, where as in 2, the entire cases are built around stupid shit and dumb as fuck rules.
