I have tried to talk to people in limsa both in say and shout. Either no one responds or they give a one word response. I've also tried chatting with people in PF or dungeon runs. Making friends is hard.

Oof, Limsa say and shout are terrible ways in my experience. You may want to just put up a PF flag saying you're looking for an FC to start with. Dungeon runs are usually hard as well because everyone is so impatient, but oddly enough I've had luck with Trials. Some are hard enough that everyone _has_ to talk, and you can bond over figuring things out / failing.

That's honestly the best part though; so long as you're only one expansion behind, when other players resub for the new expansion, a lot are also catching up on content. It's the best time to play - all of the expansion and patch content, none of the waiting or bullshit. Rinse and repeat for 7.0

Whatever you say dude but from my experience in 5.1-5.2 you're stuck with retards to clear the old raids and most of the "vets" that help out also suck ass.
Still longing for the day that I beat final coil to stormblood raids in min iLvl or synced at the very least.

Anyway, it worked for me with HW, and it worked for me with SB. I'm looking forward to it working again with ShB.

5 months of nothing. Yes we have a long period of nothing right now but thats with 2 expansions of content and QOL shit around so theres at the very least more to do to keep distracted than there was in 3.1
