It's hard to tell at this point. It looks similar enough to the first game, but at least the UI is pretty weird.

Meh tried the game out on steam, didn't like it and refunded it. Gameplay is basically nonexistant, game is too easy. Not gonna bother with the sequel to be honest if the first was so bad.

Pic related is unironically the best Atelier game to date.
Real valuable alchemy, complex recipes, you can use recipes in battle but also sell some of the stuff you make to make good money, you fight on your own and are not dependent on some bland as fuck hired swords etc.

Are there ways and strategies to make the whole alchemy part of the first Ryza go be a lot faster? I know these games are meant to be a slow burn but I hope to beat the game sooner than later so I can take care of my backlog.

Just finished Meruru's game. I really enjoye the Arland games. It will take me a bunch of time but eventually I'll end up at Ryza's game(s). But for now, it's onto Atelier Ayesha

Sadly, the game is too limited.
So many places only have one scene. Some have zero.
I find it nuts that the nudist sex cult gets her to drink the whole glass, then they just vanish. Should have had an option to join their kinky sex cult.
