>actually listening to feedback on Alpha and beta and actively communicating with the playerbase >consistently changing things so the systems will work fine for the majority of players while letting the 4% esports world first autists hang out to dry, blocking them from their always available 100% cookie cutter builds
>no more titanforging or corruption, less loot drops from mythic+ There's already crying on the forums. The addicts aren't having it. They want their whole circus clown car full of alts to be fully epic and this will severely hamper that goal.
Zachary Robinson
You should understand firsthand that Blizzard is THE video game company that refuses to listen to their fans in nearly every fucking category. Of all the video game companies in fucking existence, Blizzard will actively check out what people think and will do a complete 180 to tell those people to go fuck off.
You're delusional if you genuinely believe in your heart and soul that Blizzard employees in the year 2020 of all fucking years are suddenly gonna be like "Yeah that shitty feature of our game should probably just get revised or deleted forever, huh?"
>actually listening to feedback on Alpha and beta and actively communicating with the playerbase listening to these crayon eaters is just a half step above letting nublizzard do whatever they want
Jaxson Perez
>"Yeah that shitty feature of our game should probably just get revised or deleted forever, huh?"
That's actually what they're doing though. Warforging/titanforging gone, corruption gone, legendary RNG gone, multiple options from weekly chests added. Key system to enter Torghast removed after feedback from beta, run it as much as you want. Conduits as new relics changed to a permanent collection system.
Ayden Jackson
The crying is magnifying by factor 10 with the weekly chest system and the conduit/soulbind system changes they added yesterday.
Oh no, now I HAVE to run 15 mythic dungeons every week! I HAVE to or I won't be optimal!
The fact that they have to listen to so much feedback to make the product acceptable is a sign that they are completely out of touch and learned almost nothing from BfA when designing Shadowlands.
Michael Watson
>actually listening >those changes fucking kek its a flop on paper since day one
Nathan Carter
Listening and actually acting on it is still a massive improvement over the absolutely no communication BfA Alpha and Beta that had a core system like Azerite armor only deployed a month before launch.
Angel Roberts
Are shadow priest and shaman still fucking garbage because they refuse to listen to complaints and then when the expansion comes out they will say that nobody gave them feedback so they can't be changed? Just like what happened in bfa
Asher Foster
Do you only need to do one of those or do you get gear from all three? Can I finally stop doing dogshit fucking dungeons with bloated hp/damage numbers?
William Sanchez
Fuck off Ion. Nobody will play your shit game any more
Ryder Ross
For each you do you get another option in your weekly chest to choose from. You still get only one piece of egar, just more options to offset the chance of egtting something worthless to you.
Joseph Allen
How is this shit even warcraft anymore, it's like they just stole ideas from phone games
Jordan Rogers
They've had 15 years to listen and the game has only degenerated
Shadow Priest is still fucked. Shadowform seem to be one particular dev's pet project and they refuse to even contemplate removing it/overhauling it, so it's just more band-aids for now.
Elemental shaman looks meh to me, but Enhancement and Resto seem fine with the SL changes.
Carter Gray
True, i already bought the expansion but still think it is weird that the players have to basically tell blizzard how to design their game
Jordan Long
>Timegating
Alexander Young
The best made plans fail after contact with the enemy. Players will always find ways to game the system in ways the devs didn't conceive of. That's the purpsoe of testing, and they're actually putting it to use this time.
Owen Rivera
Still better than nothing I guess.
Kayden Campbell
>We should praise and reward them for doing something that should be normal practice
Carson Thomas
No they're not
Ayden Myers
There's timegating in this game for sure, but I fail to see how this is one of them, or one of the actual problematic ones. Before weekly chests you simply didn't get any free piece of loot every week.
Christian Diaz
>actually listening to feedback on Alpha and beta and actively communicating with the playerbase >WW is utterly shit and have godawful covenant abilities No.
Because it's a chore on a weekly timer, and yes you did, there were heaps of free loot from weekly quests
Cooper Martin
WW is a dead spec as long as DH exists and is exactly the same but better in every possible way
Levi Robinson
Were they listening to feedback on the shadowbringers forum?
Blake Miller
>no longer care about mythic raiding or being cutting edge >only care about getting AOTC and then just chill or unsub until next tier >can join a friends guild anytime i want to raid since they know i'm good >don't care about min maxing so can skip all the tedious shit >still in top 4 dps even with shit gear >Actually have fun in WoW again
Actually looking forward to retail WoW again.
Chase Rogers
buy the 6 montshs you fuck and get the pity mount see you again in 6 months shit stain
Christian Nelson
Not even Blizzard reads their own forums. They go to MMO-C, Wowhead comments and watching streamers like everyone else.
Anthony Ross
>actually listening to feedback on Alpha and beta and actively communicating with the playerbase that's how ow died
Austin King
None of those things sound fun or interesting, I think you might be a loser?
Dylan Butler
>spend 15 times more effort to increase a chance to get an item you want from 1/140+ to 3/140+ >people will praise this Yeah no thanks
Zachary Ward
overwatch was a piece of shit from the start
Sebastian Scott
Yes, anyone who doesn't fill out all three of those bars every week is not going to be competitive. This is a terrible idea and is going to intensify burnout like never before. Who the fuck wants to full clear a raid, do FIFFUCKINGTEEN dungeons every week, and then do what I assume to be at least ten hours of pvp every week for the rest of the expansion? Blizzard can suck my ass with a straw if they think I'm going to spend that much goddamn time playing their game. I play a lot of games while doing low-intensity progression raiding, which, historically, has not caused problems, but in Legion/BFA and now once again in SL it's looking like they don't want to respect my time.
If you don't care about high-level play, that's fine, have fun however you want, but don't defend dumb design decisions.
Strong waman incoming to save Anduin from the Maw and become Queen of Stormwind. Other light-undead strong waman helps and becomes Queen of the Forsaken at the end of the expansion.
Can I just do mythic dungeons without bothering with raids or am I going to be far behind gear-wise? I can probably find a group of 5 but I have long given up finding a group of 20.
James Reed
Mythic+ is purpsoely built as an alternate high tier gearing system next to raids. There's plenty of people who just do Mythic+ dungeons and don't raid at all.
