I don't think I can name any Gameboy games that weren't either NES ports, or also had a Color version?

Dragon Warrior Monsters is pretty good. Dunno if it's still worth playing over the modern games, but considering that nothing's been released in the west since Jokers it probably doesn't matter much.

Gameboy Color had some bangin exclusives as well...Warioland 3, Metal Gear Solid, any of the GBC Pokemon games, Mario Golf and Tennis, Magi Nation
A lot of people think the Gameboy library was just scaled down versions of pre existing better games and well...a lot of them are, but there are also a lot of hidden and unique gems as well.
