Can you honestly say you see a difference?

Can you honestly say you see a difference?

Yeah

I used to believe it was a meme but playing rhythm games on a 144hz monitor convinced me.

On Battlefield 4? Holy fuck yeah.

Yes, though not much. 30 just feels off, so I dislike playing on it. With 60, everything looks good.

yes, specially in racing games

aww OP's parents hate him so he makes a bait thread for attention cute

Sure there's a difference and it is noticeable
But it also doesnt fucking matter
Didnt some N64 games run at fucking 20fps or some shit?
Nobody gave a rats ass

bro you can tell difference between 59 and 60

>Can you honestly say you see a difference?
After trying 144? Not anymore, both 30 and 60 look like shit.

Kill.

The only way you'd be unable to tell the difference is if you were blind

No
0fps, 30fps, 60fps are all the same.

This
Frames are a social construct.

>he doesnt play games at -1fps

It absolutely does and heavily affect fast paced games where consistant control and timing matter.

Consistent frame rate matters more than 30vs60

30fps and 60fps looks exactly the same.
Exhibit 1.

I used to have the mentality that "24fps is the movie frame-rate so as long as it doesn't go below that it doesn't matter" but now I know that in games it doesn't work like that at all. It's visibly and obviously better to play at a higher framerate. I don't know why exactly that is. Maybe it's that films are supposed to surprise you and be unpredictable while games are supposed to give you time to react to everything and allow you to track fast movements as well as you can.

You can't?

Very true. Frame dips absolutely kill me

Exhibit 3
I can do this all day.
Incredible how retards claim there's a difference.

Attached: 30vs60 3.jpg (1280x720, 175.86K)

wtf it's the same picture

Yes, but there's no reason we can't have both. 60 fps is not even high anymore, that would be 120+.

Is it even possible to learn this power?

>Buy gaming laptop
>Finally able to play in High Fps range again
>Play all the games i always wanted to play
>~60 fps on 1080p with max. details
>See or feel nearly no difference while driving around

Yeah big maymay for absolute majority of games and only viable if you are playing fast paced games

I'm not a delusional console shitter that only ever touched 30FPS titles with a controller, so yes.
I can see AND feel the difference between 30 60 and even 120/144. Gotten so used to 60+ at this point 60 feels like shit depending on the game
>Rage comics on 2020 Zig Forums
what is this

damn they really do look the same.
To think I used to shill for 60 fps...

yes, check your eyes user

for console games, 30 is fine, i mean, that's the standard movie framerate

humans can't see past 60 fps, the human eye can perceive 30 fps and with 2 eyes the max is 60 retard

... how are you gonna compare FPS with static images, you fucking retard?
All of these you posted are exactly 1 FPS.

Fuck off you retarded goblin.

30-60 yes I notice
60+ I don't

1fps indicate it's still moving you dolt

Attached: fixed.jpg (671x502, 105.46K)

only if you view each image for exactly one second

What a dumb thread.

see? maybe not. But there's a definite difference you can feel; everything just seems smoother and more responsive. The difference hits really hard when you go straight from a solid 60 to a game that's 30 and variable -- maybe it the inconsistency rather than the lower fps, but you really notice it at that point

Not necessarily, its the Frame that you viewed in that second. However my point still stands you cannot compare FPS with still imagery.

How about now?

make it 60 fps vs 120 fps

I can't believe no one has given you a (you), this is great

I can see the difference between 60 FPS and 120 FPS, it's easy so long as you didn't get born with eyes that can only see 24 FPS or something.
