played anything good lately?
Comfy Switch Thread
Brigandine
How is it? Was looking at it.
Been playing RF4 and its super fucking comfy, a lot of the mechanics remind me of legend of mana.
I have been playing paper mario like a faggot. Its so comfy yet it feels empty because of the missing rpg elements.
still working my way through Xenoblade Chronicles DE.
have mario+rabbids kingdom battle queued up for after, and eyeing Disgaea 4 but will probably wait another year to see if it drops in price
if there were games for it, but sadly there isn't
Paper mario. Comfy game, I'm enjoying it for what it is
FoMT remake. I'm enjoying it thoroughly. I love farm games.
Crysis. Playing it again on a handheld with better visuals and performance than my computer could muster when i first played it is pretty unreal.
fuck, just seen Capcom games are on sale right now here.
bought MonHun, Okami and Dragon's Dogma, any others? Resident Evil games are only like 10-20% off apart from Rev2
Your console has no games that aren't available on better platforms.
>underpowered
>gimmick
>supposedly a handheld but too large and performs better docked
>dock scratches screen
>cheap, flimsy joycons
>library consisting of rehashes, shovelware, the worst versions of multiplats and kiddie games.
>insufferable, delusional community
>manchildren love it
>system of choice for trannies and the morbidly obese.
>smash tournaments known for being comprised of people with no concept of personal hygiene
>an embarrassment to be seen playing in public
>horrible online, overpriced.
>console is overpriced, very low value in general
>often referred to as several derogatory names, some examples include “cucktendo shitch” or just “shitch”, “Fischer price tablet” or more rarely the “NINtENDO SWItCH” (the lowercase t’s representing the low testosterone of the typical Nintendo console owner)
I could go on but I think we’ve all seen enough to agree that owning a Nintendo Switch is undesirable.

The art is really nice. As for the gameplay. Eh, could be a bit tedious at times. I think everything in the game has too much heath points. Grand strategy level is very basic, no diplomacy, no building. Heroes are pretty unique. Every faction has a story. Class and equipment systems are pretty deep. Can equip monsters too.
I just got my Switch after trying to get once since February. It came with Paper Mario and BOTW, playing Paper Mario first. I'm using my Switch as detox where I only buy new games after I beat my current game because I'm a PC backlog degenerate.
I'm playing through XC2, so yeah.
My bday is this week and I was gifted ESP Ra De and Dead Cells, both of which I'm having a blast with. Played around on Pokken last night too, pretty fun but probably won't wanna buy it after the free trial is over
Gonna buy it in a week or two with BotW, Astral Chain and Sonic Mania and Switch Online any must have games that aren't Smash?
happy birthday user
I'm playing 3 houses for the first time
do you like jrpgs? If so get the xenoblade chronicles remake, its very good.
I've been playing:
Deadly Premonition 2 (not as good as the first, and the load times are long, but still great)
Puzzle Quest (the GOAT)
DOOM 64 (coming off of wads for the original doom, this is really fun. I like the new art style a lot and the more spooky atmosphere)
Bought Dragons Dogma recently as well. Not really into games with a fantasy setting but it looks fun.
Cadence of Hyrule is probably my favorite exclusive honestly. It was a little bare bones at launch but they've added a ton of free content and the paid expansions coming out look great too
I recenmmtly got back to playing xenobladee after a month hiatus because I got burnt out by it now on chapter 14. After, I might finish trials and tribulations and dmc3. The only game on it that I have not enjoyed is three houses( at chapter 8 and still cannot recruit units).
I'm playing the Diablo 3 port and i'm having lots of fun with it
Which house?
Gonna give Pokken a shot. Hopefully I'll enjoy it.
Just waiting on those SMT games
I never played 2 but I have a lot of great memories even with vanilla 3. It came out the summer I graduated college and I played the fuck out of it
been playing xenoblade but it's getting tiresome because the combat never changes
also spike damage is horseshit
I always love having an excuse to break out the Flip Grip again. Such a sick accessory. I've played a toooon of Groove Coaster since it came out
(you)
Black eagles, i hope it was a good choice.

>OHNONONONONO
Of course it is. Have fun, user!
All 3 houses have great characters. I think this easily has the strongest cast in a Fire Emblem. Helps that they're all tightly knit and have chemistry instead of you collecting an army of 60 literally whos
Finished the main story of Xenoblade the other week. Slowly working my way through whatever there is of Future Connected. Going after all the Ponspectors before doing the story. I need to play more Catherine, too.
Is dead cells any good? I hate rogue likes usually but love metroidvanias (and the Castlevanias titles from symphony of the night onwards)
>my face when no zelda villagers in New Horizons
You think they'll add them back around the time of botw sequel's release or naw?
Also debating scooping up Paper Mario...I've played but not beaten the first three and played none of the others since. How let down will I be?
Test
Playing though Xenoblade DE, jumped back into Octopath after I beat FF9, and I still play Sword on occasion
I like it quite a bit but it's probably not going to change your mind on roguelikes. The metroidvania aspect comes in the form of permanently keeping your exploration powers when you die, so you can explore different paths on future runs. It still has permadeath though
I am free, sweet. I am playing Animal Crossing. Octavian a red squid is currently leaving my island which is good because this guy never liked me. Joined a funny conversation where he thinks he can take Buck in a fight and Buck just laughs
Just been playing Xenoblade DE, it's been a good time so far. Playing Wonderful 101 and Katamari on the side when I want something simple and fun to change it up.
Been thinking of picking up Power Rangers but I think I'm going to wait until Black Friday sales and try to pick up some other indies on my wishlist instead.
Been playing paper mario, it's pretty fun
>comfy
Its great, but Dead cells is much more rogue like than Castlevania, you die very often and replay the same areas multiple times until you become familiar with the areas and weapons as well as access more powers and items. Your items and powers are always different at the staart of every run. If you hate roguelikes you will hate Dead Cells.
When you guys say comfy or cozy what does that mean exactly? Is it like comparable to a guilty pleasure? Like a game you know is bad but play anyway?
it means comfy
it's a word with a definition
>[insert word here]
Is Nintendo ever going to address the core design problems causing joycon drift or are they just going to offer free joycon repairs for the lifetime of the system?
My gut feeling is the latter
TSMC 20nm vs TSMC 7nm DUV, something that fell off the back of the Nvidia truck vs Apple's best and brightest silicon engineers
I'm replaying Tropical Freeze right now, just remembered how good it is. I'll probably play Ori and the Blind Forest after that.
